When All Hope is Lost

Brittany's P.O.V.

I wake up, that itself surprises me. But I'm on a beach... pretty big, rocky, lots of boats to the left of me...

Then a boardwalk. And I have a tail. CRAAAAP. I look around for a place to steam dry and easily find one dry enough.

I sigh as my legs return. What a stressful and exhausted feeling. I look for signs of were in the hell I could be. Nothing.

I walk along the shoreline, thinking out loud.

"Now, about Louis. He exposed my secret, though he swore he wouldn't. The only option is to-"

"Dump him?" a familiar voice speaks from behind me. I turn around, coming face to face with...

Niall P.O.V.

"I love you. No matter what, stay with me. Through it all. Forever." I hold Emily close to me and try to dry the stream of tears pouring from her eyes. They have become so intense, she says her eyes burn when she opens them. She says she feels unnatural.

And I won't lose her now. Hell. No.

But the thing is, she has no reason when I ask her why she's crying. She says she's not depressed. She says everything is properly functioning in her body. She just feels, lost.

I feel Emily nod into my chest and look around. Where is everybody?

Cassie P.O.V.

"Harry?! Lottie?! Brittany?!" I scream on the empty beach.

"Louis?! Ed?!" why did I call Ed? He's not here. He's probably at home writing.

Home.

Not now Cassie. Focus on finding your friends.

I look around the still empty beach. Almost giving up, I push myself to walk just a little further, because what I've done so far just isn't enough. Though all of my hope is nearly lost, I need to try to regain some and walk on.

But it's no use. An hour later and still nothing. Not a person at all. I feel my head start to fall back, my neck giving in. My eyes roll back in my head and I fall onto the sand.

And everything drains to black.
