Lily's P.O.V.
As I picked up my phone, the engagement ring on my hand felt ten times heavier. This was going to be a lot harder than I thought. I pressed the contact button, lifting my phone to my ear. The phone rang two times before the familiar voice of my mother rang through the speaker.
"Hello?"
"Hey mom, it's Lily."
"Oh Lily! I was beginning to wonder if I was ever going to hear from you again! It's so nice to hear your voice again!" She gushed, and I couldn't hold back a smile.
"Yeah, I missed you too mom. So, I have some big news. I-"
"Don't tell me yet, honey. I want you to come tell me in person, so this will be an excuse for you to finally come visit me!" She says, and I could hear the excitement clear in her voice.
"Well, I don't know, I mean Liam is bus-"
"Oh, and remember to bring Liam along with you! I want to see him again." She says, interrupting me again.
I sighed, knowing that I was fighting a loosing battle. "Okay, I will. See you soon mom."
"Okay baby. I love you."
"I love you too, mom." I say before ending the call. That definitely did not go as planned.
Liam walked into the room, smiling widely. "Love, I have some good news!" He said excitedly, before noticing the frown on my face. "Oh, what's wrong baby?" He asked me worriedly, kissing my temple.
"It's my mom. I called her to tell her, but I just walked into a trap. She somehow tricked me into promising to visit her, and bring you along. I'm sorry." I say, sighing deeply before leaning into his chest.
The smile appeared back on his face. "That's actually perfect, because we just got a break from our tour. The lads are visiting their families, so we can fly out to your parent's house, and maybe to mine?" He offered, playing with my hair absentmindedly.
I smiled again, looking up at him. "That sounds perfect. I love you." I say before quickly kissing him on the lips.
"I'm glad you like the idea. I love you too." He says, smiling at me before kissing me again, and pulling out his phone. He types quickly, pressing a few b uttons.
"You should start packing, love. Our flight leaves tomorrow."

"Got everything?" Liam yells to me from the other room.
"Yeah! I'm all packed and ready for takeoff, commander!" I say, walking out of the room and and into his arms, while he laughs.
"That sounds good. Paul is driving us to the airport." He says, and my smile lessens. Since Paul is driving us to the airport, there must be fans there. Fans waiting to see us, and spot the large wedding ring that isn't very easy to hide.
"Hey, don't worry. You'll be fine, remember that they all love you." He says easily, kissing the top of my head before taking both of our bags and walking out of the door, me following behind him. Paul is there, waiting to greet us, and he takes the bags from Liam with no effort, smiling at us and saying "Hello Liam, Lily."
"Hey Paul." I greet back, my usual smile returning to my face as I take Liam's hand in mine and walk to the car. He opens the door for me, allowing me to climb in first.
I lean back in my seat, taking a deep breath. I am nervous, and Liam knows it. He is smiling brightly, my favourite smile on him.
"I can't wait for the world to see that you're mine." He says, and I can't help but smile at the happiness clear in his words
