(I decided not to go with billy in the middle of the woods by myself.)
I walked into class, trying to think of a excuse to use on why I didn't go. I felt bad, standing him up, but.... I was a bit nervous, now I can feel the awkwardness before I even sat down. Well, I sat down and we immediately started talking.
"I didn't get a text" He said immediately, a bit aggravated.
"Yeah, my phone wasn't working..." I sighed, I didn't want to lie, and I knew my excuse didn't sound good, not even to me. "Okay, honestly... well the whole situation seemed shady. You know me, two guys, middle of the woods..." I trailed off as he looked down and then he smiled.
"I see what you were saying." He said....
