Alexander Nixon

"As you can see sales went up tremendously for the Nixon Prime, Nixon High--one of our top selling jets-- and Kings Wheel." I turned to my many colleagues who sat around the long desk.

"I must say I'm impressed but I still think I need a little more convincing if you want me to sell you my company," Mr.Smith called out interrupting me.

"Well, what else can I say, sales are extremely high and they don't ever fluctuate. Ever. I promise I will not dishonor the name of your company."

The plain look on his face already told me I did not convince him enough, his hand rested on his chin as the room quietly awaited his response. He chuckled before shaking his head and looked up at me.

"I will have to give this some more thought Nixon," I immediately pursed my lips and locked my hand behind me. "Really it's a great offer but this a family business we're talking about here, just give me some time to think about it."

"Mr.Smith I really do think your company has so much more potential to be bigger and I'm afraid that you just haven't had the chance to see that yet. All I'm saying is we can either work together to get to that point or you can have me take it off your hand completely . . . the choice is yours." I argued my point for a final time.

"Alexander I'm gonna have to think it over." He repeated and I honestly, as another businessman, respect his decision.

"How long will that be?" Anthony spoke extemporaneously earning himself an angry look from me and an offended look from my would-be business partner. However, he ignored my stare and kept his focus on Mr.Smith.

"Are you going to answer me or just keep staring in our faces with your blatant lies?" He asked louder.

"Anthony," I warned him. "Excuse him please." I apologized before turning to him again. "I'm kindly asking that you exit the room."

"I don't need to leave, all I did was ask a question. I can't ask a question?" Of course, he would make this a problem, why was he even allowed in the room when he is of no help what so ever.

"Anthony Carter Nixon," my voice was stern as I hoped he wouldn't embarrass me any more than he already has.

"You aren't getting a thing anyway." He scoffed before standing and exiting the room. I shook my head in disappointment before I was about to apologize to Mr.Smith but he was already rising from his seat.

"I'm afraid I have to go," he stretched his hand out towards me and I huffed showing my offense before giving it a firm shake. "Listen, youngster, my business earns me $14.4 million per hour, the equivalent of roughly $240,000 per minute or — the clincher — $4,000 every second. You've wasted over an hour of my time already, let's not have you waste anymore."

"I don't know if you were expecting me to be impressed but I'm actually offended you thought you could compare yourself to me, you have a nice day Mr.Smith but have it somewhere else, you may leave." He then glowered at me before quietly exiting the room with his colleagues.

I dismissed my workers allowing them to go about the rest of their day. I was upset, more so with myself more than Anthony, because I knew how disgusting his attitude gets yet I still gave him permission to be apart of the meeting. No matter how many chances I give my problematic brother he never yet tries to make the best of it. The worst part is it's always me who has to clean up after his mess.

I walked to my office with my assistant, Adivia, trailing behind me. It was very clear I'm not in the best mood. She, however, did not care about that. Apart from my brother, she's the only person in my entire HQ that I have a close relationship with. She's the only person whom I trust with the many secrets of my life. The dark secrets I hide from the world to keep me looking like the 'perfect' man they say I am. She has seen my best side as well as my worst, she knows exactly how to manage me whether I'm in control or acting out of control. She's the sister I never had, I would jokingly say she's my sidekick sometimes. I love her, she's family.
