The days have never been more dull in Nayeli's life and things were no better for Alexander. After running off to Stormi's house seeking asylum Nayeli hasn't left since. Nayeli had popped up on Stormi's doorstep with salty cheeks and Stormi housed her within no time, no questions were asked before she was guided inside. She allowed her to release every emotion she felt without making her feel as if she was being annoying, she left it up to her to explain her predicament. At no point did she force her to speak but it wasn't long before Alexander's dirty little secret came to light.

At first Stormi was saddened she hadn't said anything to her before for so long, she wished Nayeli had confided in her for the sake of being there to help her get through it instead of feeling alone. Stormi's whole attitude towards Alexander changed drastically, like Nayeli, she lost all respect for him.

Nayeli is eager to forget about the past year of her life since it filled mostly with extremely unpleasant events. The new year was coming up and she so badly wanted a fresh start and she promised to gift herself that, one way or the other.

Her phone is flooded with messages and missed calls from no one but the person who caused her affliction. No paragraph or speech could fix what was broken. In fact, she wanted to get away from him as far as possible. It's not her with the thought that she needs him but he is. She's not the one with the idea she may fall for him all over again but he is. He believes she and him can move past the situation, in his head some other day they will be together again.

Over and over again he would show up at Stormi's apartment begging and pleading to see Nayeli. Yet every time Nayeli would ignore his presence and the repetitive conversation of Stormi telling him to leave which always ended the same way, Stormi threatening to call the police. Nayeli always hid in the room, wrapped up in the sheets and wrapped in pain just waiting for him to leave.

"I just need five minutes and I'll leave, I promise." Alexander sighed, frustration laced in his voice.

"I don't think it's a good idea for her to see you Alex, it's better if you just leave." Stormi voice responded sounding irritated.

"How can I when I haven't seen or heard from her in a week? A week!" He raised his voice before Stormi responded. "Nayeli!" He pushed pass Stormi.

"Hey! My nephew and niece are inside sleeping so do not come around here with the chaos." Stormi quipped, jumping in front of him.

"I just need to know she's alright, it's not easy going from being with someone everyday to not speaking at all."

"Well she isn't doing good and that's your fault, she'll be doing better if you weren't showing up every other day with some dramatic scene. She needs space in order to fully recover from what she went through. You did this, you suffer the consequences. Now leave before I call the police and don't think I won't."

"She told you everything?"

"Yes and I'm glad she did, why didn't anyone think to tell me about it." She folded her arms across her chest.

"It's not something you just say, not everyone reacts well to those type of situations." Alexander rubbed his head.

"Well not everyone handles those type of situations well either, you're clearly one of them. Get out."

"If giving her space is what may make her speak to me again then I'll give her just that, I just hope she knows that I will never do anything to purposely hurt her, I'm not a bad person."
