I adjusted my skirt for what felt like the hundredth time today. The skirt wasn't even my problem it was in fact the heels I was forcing myself to feel comfortable in. Incase you haven't figured it out by now I'm not the type to strut around in heels, this is definitely one of the hardest things I've ever done.

"I have nothing against heels but do I have to wear them everyday?" I walked into Adivia's office, she laughed before looking up from her computer screen.

"No you definitely do not have to wear them if you don't want to, just don't show up looking like your about to hang out instead of work."

"It's just so hard to walk in them all day, my feet hurts alot already," I stretched down trying to rub my ankles before walking out her office back to mine.

I'm not gonna lie I really like this job, anything beats cleaning up after people. I take my work very seriously and Alexander seems to appreciate it very much. My work, by the way, is filled with scheduling meetings, checking emails and texts for Alexander, I literally have access to him and everything he does.

I checked over Alexander's schedule just to clarify that he was now free before I went over to his office, I hated to interrupt him when he's working. He doesn't mind however, no matter how many times I would go to him he's never turn me back or reminded me of how busy he is.

I knocked on his door before entering, I came face to face with his brother who was the last person I expected to see.

"You cleaned up good." Those were the first words to come out his mouth, it was definitely not made to be a compliment. "That came out wrong, I meant that you look good. Really good" he tried apologized.

"He was just leaving," we both turned our heads to Alexander.

"That's right, I actually am." Anthony stared at me before looking away laughing nervously. Alexander and I stood there confused as to what exactly was funny. "I know the last time I saw you I was very inappropriate and I would like to apologize for that," I was shocked that he was being so mature but something tells me this wasn't genuine at all.

"Don't worry about it, I forgot it even happened" I laughed awkwardly.

"That's good," he looked over at Alex who stood patiently waiting on him to leave. "Let me give you a hug," he stretched his arms out to me and I was not comfortable hugging him but I didn't want to make the situation anymore awkward than it already was so I gave in to him. I tried to make it quick but he held on even when I let go to signal that he should stop, I tried pulling away but he only pulled me closer and I was only getting more uncomfortable by the second. I felt a pair of hands rip us apart and in no time Anthony was slammed on Alexander's desk. I was frightened by his behavior, he was overreacting. I didn't know what to do so instead I took a step back and watched as he hauled him off the table and swung him towards the door commanding him to leave. Anthony gave him a death glare before walking out of the office.

"You need to calm down all he did was hug me."

"I don't want you around him. Stay away from him" he took off his jacket rest it on one of the couches before sitting in another.

"He's your brother and yeah I don't like him but he's still your brother. You need to go apologize to him."

"Don't worry about me just don't you ever speak to him again. I'm finished with this conversation," he slowly sat on the couch and wiped his hand down his face.

"You don't get to choose when you do and do not speak to me," I stomped over to him only to almost fall in my face. Seeing my dilemma he gently pull me to sit next to him.

"You're right I don't and I'm sorry." He kissed my hands before sliding down to the other side of the couch, he lifted my foot and slipped off my heels.

"Alex this isn't very professional" I tried reminding him of where we were but it doesn't stop him.

"There's nothing wrong with rubbing your feet for you and I know your feet hurt because you rub your ankles every other minute. No one will see so relax" he's right about the last part, no one dares to interrupt whilst he's on break.

"So you rub the feet of all your employees when it's in pain?"

"Did you have lunch?" He ignores my question even though it was some what rhetorical.

"Not as yet" I finally relax and give in to the harmless foot rub he offered. Correction, forced.

"I'll place an order for you before It's too late" he gently places my feet on the couch and goes to his desk to retrieve his phone.

"Isn't it my job to get you lunch since I'm your personal assistant?" I watch as he takes a minute to type something before placing the phone back on his desk.

"Don't worry about it, just focus on the tasks that you're given," he reaches for his bottle of scotch and pours a little in two glasses that he took from a stand in the corner of his office. I watched as he walks over to me and holds one of the glasses in front of me signaling for me to take it.

"You must be joking" I laugh and adjusted myself properly in the couch.

"Excuse me?" He really does not see the issue here which is an even bigger issue.

"I'm at work I can't drink while I'm on the job" he laughs as if what I said was funny.

"I'm your boss and I'm giving you permission to take a sip," he chugs the little he had in his glass.

"Exactly. I'm honestly grateful for your kindness but I don't want anyone to think the only reason I got this job has anything to do with our relationship. You would let me get away with anything."

"Relationship?" He raised his eyebrows at me with a smirk on his face. What is is with men always ignoring the most important parts of an explanation? It's like their subconscious tells them skip!

"So what do you want me to do?" He asked before chugging the little that's in the glass he offered to me.

"Don't treat me like your friend, treat me like your colleague, when were at work at least."

"I don't want to treat you like anything but my woman," he pulled my body closer to him leaving our face only inches apart.

"And you can't stop me because I know you want me just as much as I want you" his lips brush mine as he talks so soft it's just above a whisper' the type that sends shivers up my spine. When our eyes met it felt like he was penetrating my soul.

There it is. That spark, the one you feel instantly when you connect with someone.

'Kiss me' was all I had to say before he crashed his lips into mine. The feeling it sent through my body was euphoric and I love that he could make me feel this way.
