"God is good, God is good, God is good." I hurried to the bedroom to see what has gotten my mother so cheerful. I left my copy of "Fifty Shades Darker" on the couch facing down to secure the page I'm currently on. Not like I will lose track of where I am anyway.

"What happened?" I asked as soon as I entered the room. She beamed at me while stretching for my hands, I giggled at how ridiculously happy she seemed at the moment. "Tell me!" I asked now eager for her to share the obviously good news.

"Okay, okay calm down. The medicals bills have been taken care of." The words sounded heaven like rolling off her tongue. I gasped leaving my mouth ajar and after seconds of realizing I covered it with my hand, this went on for a while before I broke out into my brightest smile. Every stress I had about these medical bills has disappeared just as the debt has.

"How did it happen? I should check to make sure, maybe this is a joke."

"Child somebody blessed us, it was dealt anonymously. Whoever it is may the Lord bless you." She said as if the person could hear her.

While Sonya continued to give thanks my mind slowly put the puzzles together. I didn't have to rack my brains about who did it, it is quite obvious actually. Now that I fully understand the situation the only thing I want to know is why did he do it.

"You are fucking lucky you know that?" Stormi gaped at me as we shoved our bags in our lockers. I was telling her about my newfound friendship with Alexander, not by choice either. She started pinning me with questions when I told her about his visit to the hospital. I wanted to tell her about my mother's medical debts being cleared but I don't think it's something I need to mention.

"I am but I don't know how to feel about it." We collected our cart to begin our journey on the elevator to the top floor. Lyndon trailed a few feet behind us lost in her phone, that girl seems so lost in her own world.

"What do you mean?" Stormi asked as we climbed into the elevator.

"I've never actually had someone, other than my mother, do so much for me so now that he is I feel like there's something he wants in return." I finally admit.

"Or he could just be doing it out of the kindness of his heart. I mean what could Mr.Nixon possibly want from you?" As soon as those words left her mouth a gasp fell from mine. I glanced at Lyndon to remind Stormi that she should be careful of what she says around Lyndon. She knows how I feel about-

Well-

Damn near almost all the other employees that dislike me for some reason. I do not need to give these girls any more reasons to torment me.

"I can see you telling her to shut up and I heard what you said." Lyndon laughed out loud while adjusting her dark hair using the wall of the elevator as her mirror, her heart is probably just as dark as her hair.

I shoot both her and Stormi a glare, for different reasons but the same intensity.

"Lyndon was so fucking sad the other night when she went to Mr.Nixon's office to clean it but he wasn't there." Stormi laughed louder.

"I thought you said you guys weren't allowed inside there?" I asked.

"I lied." Stormi shrugged her shoulders and ignored the threatening look she was getting from Lyndon. Stormi one, Blackheart zero.

We carried out our usual routine but in all honesty, I was looking forward to my few minutes I get with Alexander, we haven't spoken to each other since he left the hospital.
