"Do you prefer cupping therapy, acupuncture or a massage?" Alexander asked as he approached me on the blanket I spreaded on the sand. The sound of the crashing waves continues to keep me relaxed.

"None of the above." I stopped admiring the ring on my finger and rolled on my side to give him space to lay next to me.

"Why not? It's very relaxing." He grinned at me.

"I'm not too into the idea of another person's hands touching me right now." I watched his eyes soften. "But I'll take a massage from you."

"Okay," he agreed. "Just roll over and take your top off."

"Right here?"

"Oh shit you're right, can't let the neighbours see you." He said with sarcasm thick in his voice.

"Shut up." I did as he instructed and made sure to keep myself covered while I did so, once my top was off completely he began.

"We have to start packing today, no more putting it off," he reminded.

"It's only Wednesday," I groaned not looking forward to packing at all.

"And we leave Friday four a.m on the dot so therefore we need to start packing."

"I'm gonna miss it here," I sighed. "But I'm also looking forward to going home, we'll be home just in time for christmas," I added.

"Christmas, the happiest time of the year." His voice was off despite his attempt to sound joyful, he however changed the topic before I could call him out on it. "I know you can't wait to get home."

"Seems if I said I wanted to move here you would jump on the idea." He laughed at my response, just like his smiles his laugh is contagious. "Why are you laughing?" I chuckled.

"First of all, I wouldn't want to move here it's a bit too far from home, I rather we look into other options. Second of all I'm just trying to be the supportive boyfriend you deserve."

"And for that I say thank you."

Our last day in this idyllic setting is spent on the beach, our toes buried in the sand, wind blowing through our hair. Our last day of being carefree. It was a day well spent and as the sunset painted the sky it came to an end. I didn't sleep much tonight, I saved it for the lengthy flight we have scheduled to take us home. Alexander on the other hand was taking the time to get his rest, later on he will occupy his time with a book. I've come to realise it is something he loves to do.

"Hey we're here." Alexander woke me from my deep sleep but I felt very tired still.

"What time is it?" I looked out the window and the first thing I see is a house, one I've never seen before. "Alexander who's house is this, I thought we were going straight home?" I turned to face him.

"This is our home." He jumped out of the car and I watched him walk around to my side to open the door. I didn't know what to say nor could I move, I was completely lost for words.

"Just wait until you see inside." He gently pulled me out of the car while my eyes were fixed on the lavish two story house standing firmly behind him. It isn't a mansion but it sure isn't small either. It's when I begin to look around my eyes finally caught sight of the space that surrounds the house and right then I knew this had to have costed him millions of dollars.

"I was looking into it before we left and the purchase was consummated while we were away."

"Alexander-"

"Now before you start being difficult this is a fresh start for the both of us, I know it's a big house for just the two of us but later along the line we're gonna need space. When it's not just us anymore."
