Omniscient Narration

"Are you okay? Did he hurt you?" Alexander rushed over to Nayeli careful not to step in his brothers blood, he didn't want to make the mess any bigger than it already is.

The blood was thick and warm on Nayeli's face and finally she felt the bile in the back of her throat but was unable to move. Alexander realized the look on her face and helped her to the bathroom, she emptied her stomach in the toilet while he stood over her rubbing her back. Feeling like the room was closing in she began to hyperventilate, he lifted her onto the counter in the bathroom so he could properly calm her down.

"Hey take deep breaths," he tried to keep her focused on him by holding both sides off her face to look at him. "Come on Nayeli inhale," he did it slowly so she could follow but she was still in shock not listening to a word he was saying.

"Exhale. You're okay. Just follow me," she finally started looking in his eyes and her breathing was slowly regulating once she copied his pattern. As soon as she calmed down her tears began flowing and it was killing Alexander that this happened to her. Immediately he wished he never left, slowly starting to blame himself he wished he could go back. He knew there was no time to waste because he had to do something about his brother's corpse in the room.

"Listen to me you need to take a shower again, I'm gonna be right here this whole time." He lifted her off the counter and she slowly made her way to the shower. Her body was still trembling as he helped her inside, deciding to respect her privacy he turned his back and stood by the door.

Nayeli watched as the blood flowed down her skin and into the drain, her thoughts were all over the place from the fact that she has to talk to Alexander about everything to the dead body that is laid across her bedroom floor. She knew a dead body meant the police is now involved but in Alexander's mind he had it all under control.

This shower was much shorter than usual and as soon as she came out Alexander was already searching through her drawers for clothes. There was a knock on the door which cause Nayeli to jump, still on edge from what occurred not even half hour ago.

"Get dressed and do not move from this spot, don't touch anything," he handed the neatly folded jeans and T-shirt to her before going to answer the door. She followed his instructions trying to ignore Anthony's dead body that was only a few feet away from her. As soon as her eyes landed on him she could see blood trickling from his neck, she looked away not being able to stand the sight any longer.

When Alexander returned to the room she was taken aback to see Adivia following behind him and her reaction was nothing like she thought it would be. Instead of acknowledging the dead body on the floor she walked over it and approached Nayeli with sympathy in her eyes, her high heels tapping on the floor with each step. Something about their behaviors hinted that this isn't the first time they been in a situation like this.

"Are you alright?" She hugged Nayeli who struggled to answer, traumatized by earlier events. "Alright here's what you need to do, you need to tell us what happened. Tell us every little detail. I need to know what he touched, where he walked, did you know he was here?"

Nayeli was overwhelmed by the situation and everything seems to be happening too quickly. She shook her head indicating she didn't know he was here, she was focused on Adivia who pulled a pair of gloves from her purse and handed it to Alexander before slipping her hands into her own pair.

"Nayeli now is the time for you to speak up, I need to know what happened."

"Well after we got back here Alexander had to leave, I decided that I was going to take a shower. When I came out I heard footsteps but I ignored them and tried to get dressed because I thought it was Alexander." Her voice was shaky and you could hear the urge to cry, the panic in her voice. It crushed Alexander and Adivia, it is a heartbreaking thing to hear.
