Chapter 12

ZOEYS POV

I walked into Aphmau's house, tired.

(Y/n), Garroth and I had stayed up late, laughing, crying, hugging, Garroth slipping in a little kiss on (Y/n)'s cheek.

After a bit, a nurse came in and said that (Y/n) needed some rest. Before I could launch into a speech about how a coma is a medically enhanced form of sleep, and that I thought (Y/n) had plenty of it, Garroth thanked the nurse and she went out.

I ended up riding home on Kiki's horse, back to Phoenix Drop, bringing good news with me. I walked into Aph's house, smiling to myself. I snuck upstairs to find Aphmau.

I knocked softly on Aph's door before walking in.

She sat next to her bed, smiling at Finn who was sleeping next to Lia on her bed. She gently touched his hair, gently brushing his bangs out of his face.

I smiled as I walked over. "He's just like his daddy." I knelt down by her.

Aphmau giggled softly. "He is." She looked down at him again.

I smiled. "So, when are you planning on having one of your own?" I said teasingly.

Aphmau blushed, and even in the dark, I could tell. "W-what do you mean? I already have Levin and Malachi."

I giggled. "You know what I mean."

Aphmau's face continued to grow red. "Z-Zoey!"

I giggled. "Well?"

Aphmau sighed with a soft smile. "I don't know..." she giggled softly.

I raised an eyebrow. "Then why are you laughing?"

Aphmau giggled. "I don't know!"

I sighed with a small smile. "We should get to bed. You are so tired right now. I can tell cause you're laughing so much."

She giggled. "Maybe. Maybe not."

I looked at her weirdly. "Okay then... You can sleep in the guest room downstairs."

Aphmau yawned. "Alright."

I smiled.

-SOON-

I plopped down on my bed, exhausted. 

Aphmau was sound asleep in the next room, the twins upstairs.

I smiled softly to myself. Although I didn't get to tell Aph that (Y/n) was awake, I'm so happy that she is.

I laid down in bed, staring up at the ceiling. "Tomorrow... is going to be awesome." I whispered to myself before closing my eyes and attempting to sleep.

Sorry it's short :\ I've had a TON of homework sense I started school and I know I am aweful at updating but, not much I can do about it. I think what I'm gunna try to do for now is update once a week. :)
