FINN'S POV

I grabbed a potion from one of Auntie Zoey's shelves. "What does this do?" I asked Lia.

Lia scoffed. "Put that down! Your gunna break something!"

I pouted, but put it back. "When is mommy coming back? She'd tell you to be nice."

Lia frowned. "Don't you get it Finn?! Why are you so stupid?! Mom's gone! She's not coming back!" A couple tears ran down her face.

Lia never cried. That meant she wasn't lying.

"No!" I felt tears stream down my face. "Mommy promised! Mommy promised she'd come back!" I ran out of the room.

"Auntie Zoeeeeyyy!" I ran upstairs blindly, tears filling my vision.

I ran into either a wall or Uncle Aaron.

I fell down on my butt and held a hand on my head. I cried harder. "Auntie Zoey!!!" I cried.

I felt someone pick me up.

"Finn! Hey! Shhh... it's okay..." Uncle Aaron said softly.

I kept on crying. "Lia said Mommy was never coming back!" I cried harder. "And then I hit a wall!"

I felt Uncle Aaron chuckle softly. "Don't listen to Lia, Finn. She's just sour that she didn't get to give Daddy her cake yet."

APHMAUS POV

I and Zoey walked downstairs after Aaron.

We walked into the kitchen.

"B-but what about mommy?"

Aaron froze. "Um... mommy's coming back, we just don't know when." He said softly.

I giggled. "Actually, do you to want to go see mommy?"

Finn's eyes lit up. "Mommy?"

I nodded softly.

"Mommy!" He cheered. "Let's go now!"

Lia walked in. "Finn, I'm sorry for-" She saw his excitement and frowned in confusion. "Why are you so happy?"

Finn giggled. "We get to go see mama!"

Lias eyes widened. "What?"

Finn giggled. "Mhmm~!"

Lia frowned. "But isn't Mommy... You know..." She kicked at the ground nervously.

I smiled lightly. "Whatever you're thinking, no."

Lia frowned. "But that means my hypothesis was wrong?"

I giggled. "You could say that."

Lia sighed in relief. "This is the first time I have been happy to be wrong."

I smiled. "Well, let's go see (Y/n)."
