APHMAU'S POV

Today was the day.

I giggled excitedly to myself before getting out of bed and walking upstairs. I made my way to my room quickly to check on the twins.

Soon enough, Garroth would come back with no news, that (Y/n) was still asleep.

I sighed softly. I felt bad for the twins. To have your mother taken from you at such a young age just isn't right.

Finn was especially not going to take it well when (Y/N) never came back.

I knelt down next to the bed and brushed Finn's bangs out of his eyes. I smiled and gently kissed his forehead.

He stirred lightly, pulling on the blanket, covering himself up to his neck.

I smiled softly before glancing at the door. Soon. I thought. Soon.

I sighed softly before walking downstairs.

Zoey was up, sitting at the table with a cup of tea.

I smiled. "Did you make me any?"

Zoey raised an eyebrow. "No... did you want some? You normally tell me you don't want any."

I shrugged. "Well, I would like some if you would make me some."

Zoey smiled softly. "I can make some more if you'd like."

I smiled. "Thanks Zoey!~" I said happily.

Zoey raised an eyebrow. "What's gotten you all happy?"

I grinned. "You'll find out soon enough."

Zoey rolled her eyes. "Alright. Well, I'll make your tea and start breakfast for the kids. Can you go wake them up?"

I nodded. "Yeah! Do you want help with breakfast though?"

Zoey thought for a moment. "Well... can you just keep the kids upstairs or at least out of the kitchen for a while?"

I smiled softly. "Yeah."

Zoey sighed. "I don't know what to think about you, Aphmau. You have mood-swings like crazy." She giggled.

I rolled my eyes before walking upstairs. I lightly knocked on my room door before walking in.

Lia was curled up on the side of the bed, closest to the wall.

Finn practically took up the entire bed. He was sprawled across the bed, a pillow over his face.

I giggled softly. "Finn~. Lia~" I said in a singsong voice.

Finn rubbed his eyes sleepily. "Mommy? When did you get back?" He mumbled, attempting to wake up. His voice was full of excitement and happiness.

I felt my face soften. "Finn..." I said softly. "Its Auntie Aphmau."

Finn opened one eye. "Oh... sorry Auntie." He answered, disappointment and sadness clearly in his voice.

I bit my lip lightly before pulling him into a hug. "I'm sorry buddy. I didn't mean to get your hopes up." I said softly.

His bottom lip quivered. "I-It's alright Auntie. I forgive you."

I smiled softly, still hugging him.

Lia opened an eye. "Hi Auntie." She yawned.

I smiled. "Hey girly."

She smiled softly. "Is Daddy back? I made a cake for him yesterday."

I frowned. "Now that I think about it, Auntie Zoey came home but your Daddy wasn't with her."

She frowned. "But I want to give daddy my cak-"

"APHMAU!" Zoey yelled from downstairs.

I grinned. This is it.

I smiled at the two kids. "Follow Auntie." I ran downstairs, knowing what was waiting for me at the bottom of the stairs.

I squealed and practically jumped into his arms.

Aaron smirked lightly. "Hey babe."
