FINN'S POV

"What room is Mommy in?" I asked, bouncing up and down excitedly.

Uncle Aaron chuckled lightly. "I don't know... ask Auntie Aphmau."

I skipped over to Auntie Aphmau who was waiting by a big desk.

"Auntie?" I tried looking over the desk top.

Auntie looked down at me. "Hmm?"

"What room is Mommy in?" I asked, still wondering why Mommy was in a hospital.

"Umm... 232."

I grinned before running off to find Lia. "Lllllliiiiiiaaaaaaaa~!" I sang as I went to find my sissy.

Lia had the usual frown on her face. "What?"

I grinned. "Mommy's in room 232!"

Lia's eyes lit up. "Is Daddy in there to?"

I shrugged. "Probably..."

Lia grinned. "Let's go! Let's go!"

I giggled before we ran to find the elevator.

"Finn! Lia! Stop running around!" Aunt Zoey fussed, chasing after us.

I screeched, running away from Aunt Zoey.

Lia giggled, following after me.

Aunt Zoey frowned, running after us.

I went around a corner, Zia going the other way so Aunt Zoey had to run after one of us.

I grinned as I ran away.

Aunt Zoey ran after Lia and I watched, grinning. I was about to go join them when I got picked up from behind.

I screeched, laughing.

Auntie Aphmau laughed. "Ready to go see Mommy?"

I grinned and nodded. "Yeah!"

Lia giggled, coming around the corner with Auntie Zoey. "Come on!"

I giggled and Auntie Aphmau set me down.

I giggled before running to the elevator.

Auntie Aphmau giggled and followed me.

I jumped up and down excitedly as we waited.

-soon-

I took a deep breathe. It was hard to believe Mommy was on the other side of the door. I hadn't seen Mommy in a long time.

Auntie Aphmau had said something about not seeing her in 7 months.

I bit my lip.

"Open the door Finn!" Auntie Zoey said softly.

I put my hand on the door handle, but I was scared to.

Auntie Zoey bit her lip lightly. "Finn?"

I looked back at her and I could feel tears in my eyes. "I wanna see Mommy..." I bit my lip, trying not to cry.

Auntie Aphmau frowned. "Then open the door... she's in there..."

Tears fell down my face. "But Mommy might not want us..." I cried.

A look of sadness and affection crossed Auntie Aphmau's face. "Bud, what makes you say that?" She asked softly.

I bit my lip. "Well why didn't Mommy come home sooner?"

Auntie Zoey smiled softly. "When you open the door, and see your Mommy, you can ask her, alright?"

I nodded softly and wiped at my eyes.

Uncle Aaron had been quiet the whole time, leaning against the wall.

I bit my lip and looked over at Lia.

She was smiling softly, which was rare. "Open it Finn! I really miss Mommy and Daddy..." she said softly.

I giggled softly and wiped the last couple tears that fell down my cheeks away. "Alright."

I turned the door knob and slowly opened the door. I bit my lip, not looking at Mommy before asking her my question. "Mommy, why didn't you come home quicker?"
