TRAVIS'S POV
I let out a breath of relief when Serina walked in with Andi. I was working on the cure for the poison and I know I was supposed to be concentrating, but I couldn't help but watch as they walked over to Vylad and started talking.
I bit my bottom lip.
Serina.
That's what her name was. It was a beautiful name... it suited her well.
I mentally slapped myself. Her and Vylad were probably dating or something.
I returned to creating the cure. I needed to do this. If not to add to my collection...
At least for Andi. She was my sister after all.
VYLAD'S POV
"How'd it go?" I asked Serina, glancing between her and Andi.
She took a deep breath before replying. "Well, I know what happened now."
Andi was staring down at her feet, her arms criss-crossed across her chest.
I nodded. "Alright. Andi?"
She glanced up at me. "Huh?"
I smiled softly. "Are you okay? You look really distracted."
Andi looked down at her feet again. "Yeah... I'm just thinking..." she said before a smile appeared. "About what might happen when we get home."
I raised an eyebrow. "That your brother might die?"
Andi glared at me. "No." she scoffed. "You know, some of us have lives outside the Nether." She said bitterly.
I put my hands up. "Sorry." I muttered. How does Laurence put up with her?
Andi sighed. "I'm sorry... I just have... things, going on. And I'm worried about Laurence, (Y/N), and Aaron..." she trailed off.
I smiled softly. "Yeah. I understand. All of them are close to you." I sighed softly. "I'm pretty sure Laurence passed out from using to much energy to hold open the portal, (Y/N) as well."
She nodded softly. "Stupid Laurence." She laughed bitterly. "Stupid, stupid, stupid." She smiled. "He'd give his life if it meant saving just one other person. But he never thinks about what others might feel if he did die." She sighed softly."I don't know what I'd do..."
I smiled. "Well let's hope Travis finds the cure fast so we can get back soon then."
Andi smiled. "Yeah."
