ANDI'S POV

Everybody else was asleep while I kept watch. They all told me to go to sleep, but I just couldn't. I don't think I'd be able to sleep. Besides, I had a lot to think about. I couldn't waste that precious time on sleeping.

My eyes wandered over the interior of Travis' house. It was a couple minutes before my eyes landed on the door.

I glanced at the others.

Travis, Serina and Vylad slept by the fireplace, but at a safe distance.

I got up and tip-toed my way over there sleeping bodies to the door. I stepped outside, the cool air washing over me. I let out a small sigh, my breath showing in the cold air. I rubbed my arms, cold, as I walked towards a giant tree. I climbed it, sitting in the branches.

The branches were comforting. When Laurence and I had just been dating, we would sit in a tree for hours, just looking up at the sky and talking with each other.

I smiled to myself. I missed doing that. I looked down at stomach, my hands resting on it lightly. "Daddy's pretty awesome... isn't he?" I said softly.

I giggled at how ridiculous I sounded. I mean, I was talking to my stomach.

I looked up at the sky. Although it was cold out, the view was worth it. The sky was clear, few clouds. The stars were bright, crisp. I feel like I could reach out and touch them.

The town was lit up with lights, some of every color.

I smiled softly to myself before closing my eyes, and falling asleep.

TRAVIS' POV
I was the first one up, Serina and Vylad on the floor, sleeping still. I looked around for my sister, but she was nowhere in sight.

I sighed. "Oh well... she's probably around here somewhere."

I walked over to check on the potion. Please work... I sighed before picking it up. It sizzled, bubbles appearing at the top of the liquid. I bit my lip. Now I just needed to add lavender and crash powder.

I sighed softly and set down the potion. I walked over to yet another messy desk, searching for the ingredients I needed. I shoved papers off onto the ground, making a note in the back of my mind to go through all of my stuff later.

I picked up a small plastic bag of the red powder I was searching for. I smiled triumphantly as I put it next to the beaker of liquid.

Now for the lavender...

It was after quite a few minutes of searching through my stuff that I pulled out the bag of lavender petals. I sighed, annoyed. I dropped the bag next to the beaker. I stared at the glass tube that held the antidote.

Here goes nothing.
