Flashback
Rising when the sunlight pierced her eyes Tina knew she wasnt in her own bed. It was early morning and the sunrise was bright, she knew the people at home would be rising too. Murmurs next to her brought her crashing down to reality, she was next to Negan. "Shit!" She shouted hurling herself from the bed and instantly concealing herself when she saw she was wearing nothing but her vest top and panties. "Whats the matter sweetness?" Negan groaned as he woke up rubbing his eyes "oh my god" she whispered to herself seeing he was shirtless. "I have to go right now" she snapped picking her leggings up that were bunched on the floor and quickly putting them on followed by her sneakers and slammed his bedroom door and bolted from his chamber. As she breezed past some of his men who too were waking up and about to start their day she heard Negan bellow to her "Tina! Stop!" She ignored him and continued until she got to the gate "Tina!" He called again, eventually catching up to her and yanking her arm back "where the hell do you think you are going like that?" He sounded angry but spoke quietly to not air it in public as it would seem "Negan, please let me go. Please" Tina begged fighting back her tears, she needed to leave, he looked at her for a moment, his facial expression softened "Dwight, bring my car round will ya?" He called to his companion not taking his gaze from Tina "I'll make sure you get back safe" he reassured her, she smiled weakly in gratitude "Daryl will never know" he added making her drop her smile.

End Of Flashback
"I know whats going on T" Daryl began as he sat side by side Tina at the top of the stairs in their home "I'm not stupid" he added, Daryl didnt sound angry, or devastated, even bitter, he was being understanding. This was breaking Tina more and more. Breathing in deeply "why has this happened? Should this be like this in this world?" She spoke tearily hanging her head in her hands, whimpering into full on sobs once Daryl wrapped his strong arm around her pulling her to cry into his chest "people change T" he whispered in his husky voice.

Flashback
"I cant believe I was so stupid" Tina snapped as she glared from the window of the passenger side as Negan drove "I hate myself" she muttered, Negan laughed "I wouldnt say that" he spoke smugly instantly pissing her off "stop the car" Tina spoke through gritted teeth turning her attention to Negan who was grinning away, breathing in frustration when he didnt, she asked again, this time more aggressively "stop the car now!" Tina was taken aback when he did as she demanded and abruptly halted the car, without a backward glance she stepped out leaving her door open and began pacing her way back home, it wasnt far but on foot it would take a good half hour. "Tina" Negan called calmly as she heard him step out the car, "what?" She snapped in reply turning to face him "where are you going?" He asked with his classic grin leaning on the car "away from you" she gestured before proceeding to walk back "dont be like this. Come on!" He seemed to be pleading here and Tina looked back quizzical at him. "Just...just leave me alone!" She responded. She began stomping towards him, pushing him hard in his strong chest "you think you are a real big shot dont you?! Everything is a game to you! This isnt to me! I'm not a game to be played! You are just like every other guy out there, real big ego and nothing else!" She snarled at him only becoming angrier when he let out a laugh making her scoff "You are nothing compared to Daryl" she stated glaring at him with hatred, Negan's smile was wiped from his face and Tina saw his eyes darken as he lent in closer to her eyeline "then why did you come?" He asked making her blood run cold.

End Of Flashback
There was a long silence over the two as they huddled on the stairs, Tina clung to Daryl and she was pleased he wasnt sickened by her to shove her off instead he cradled her lovingly. "Why did you do it T?" He asked, his mouth dry from the turn of events, removing herself from his hold she looked into his eyes, he was owed this much "it just happened" she responded, she really couldnt think back enough "it just happened" she repeated herself. Daryl nodded in response to her words.

Flashback
"You have no right asking that" Tina laughed off his question folding her arms in front of him. "To fuck me should of been your fucking response" he spoke with confidence not caring he was using profanity around Tina, they were past all that now, especially after last night. "You disgust me" she replied shaking her head just as a walker gripped its hold onto her groaning and moaning into her ear, screaming in fear she felt powerless to react quick enough before the deafening thud of Negan's bat made it stop and fall in a heap on the floor as he stood coolly by the vehicle. He didnt even hold his arms out to reassure Tina she was okay. She turned to face the direction the walker came from and saw an open field behind her, letting out a small laugh she turned back to Negan "you knew that was coming didnt you?" She asked knowing full well he did Negan simply shrugged his shoulders "this is because i rejected you isnt it?" She added smugly.

End Of Flashback
"I knew he liked me, it was obvious" Tina began "he just didnt like the challenge. Women drop at his feet, even his men's wives in plain view, he is god to these women" she added as Daryl listened leaning his cheek on his hand "i guess I had some crush if you can call it that" she admitted closing her eyes in shame "he got into my head, made me think you were unable to protect me, i think i knew deep down what he was doing, I was just too fucking stupid to see it fully" she spoke punching her knee in frustration at her actions "I dont know why I went to see him that night, me and you were fighting like crazy and I guess I just wanted some attention, some from someone who I knew would give it to me" she spoke wiping tears from her eyes "i realised half way there what a mistake id made" Tina finished reaching out to take Daryl's hand.

Flashback
Negan's smug demeanour changed drastically and he stood tall, towering over her. "Whatever" she whispered in a flat laugh and began walking back, she wasnt sure how it would be by the time she got back if anyone saw her re enter through the fence and being unarmed against any walkers she felt uncertain on whether she would get home at all. "Get in the car, you cant go back alone like this" Negan called gently to her, she ignored him again "Tina, it will just make it worse" he added, she groaned aloud in frustration, she wanted to be as far away from this man as physically possible but he had a point, she had no protection after all. Relenting she sat back in the car and went back to her position of glaring out the window.

"Why didnt you let me leave last night?" Tina asked breaking the silence, Negan seemed to dismiss her question but eventually responded "walkers are out more at night, everything is quieter, they hear the littlest noise they come" looking to her he added "im not that much of a pig" she smiled in acceptance to his response.

Shuffling nervously in her seat Tina spoke again "im sorry if you thought id lead you on or something" she could see Alexandria approaching on the horizon and felt more nervous knowing it was nearly full sunrise and Rick or even Daryl could be leaving on a run and could easily see her. "Tina this is why I like you, you are not someone who submits for an easier life like some of the women back home, you have depth, yea sleeping with you would of been amazing but i respect you, and no matter what you think of yourself right now in your heart you did the right thing. Respect that" he spoke making her blush as he spoke about them having sex, she herself had thought of being underneath the sheets with Negan but no matter how bad it got with Daryl she wasnt like that. "This is where i have to leave ya kid" he said softly pulling the car to a halt, it was only a few feet from Alexandria but the car would of made too much noise getting any closer "this is the side of you i like. Dont be that monster you can be" Tina spoke not looking his way nor thanking him for getting her home safely and shut the door behind her and jogged back to the fence.

End Of Flashback
"He didnt flip when I pushed his lips away" Tina spoke "i think he was shocked i didnt jump into bed with him but he didnt turn, he didnt yell, he didnt do anything, he just...he just accepted it" she finished sighing and dropping her shoulders, turning to face Daryl, he looked broken, tired and weary but he was still her Daryl "can we work on it? What he have, had? I dont know what we can call it now after this" she asked gesturing between them both, trying to hold herself together waiting for Daryl to respond "its what he have T, its always what we have" he whispered, he let out a small smile before pulling her into his arms and holding her kissing her forehead repeatedly.
