"So I walked back to my room and collapsed on the bottom bunk, thinking that if people were rain, I was drizzle and she was a hurricane."

"What do you think of this one?"
Chloe scrunched her nose and shook her head violently. "Definitely not." I sighed and ran a hand over my face in frustration.
"Jesus Christ, why is it so hard to shop for her?" I groaned. We had been Shopping for nearly two hours now, and still haven't found anything for Skylar.
Chloe patted my back awkwardly. "Because you like her and want her to like her present."
I sighed and looked down at the case that I was leaning on. "Yeah, but I thought it'd be easi-Wait, no!" I gave her a disbelieving look. "I do not like her."
She rolled her eyes, "Right." I opened my mouth to ask another question, but Chloe pointed down at the case, "What do you think about this one?"
I looked back down at the case and looked at the ring she was looking at and shook ny head, "No."
I was about to give up and get her a gift card, but then I looked to the left of the ring and something silver caught my eye.
"Excuse me." the assistant standing behind the counter turned to me and smiled, "Yes?"
I pointed at the ring in the case, "Can you get me that Infinity ring?"
She nodded and grabbed it from the case. When she set it on the counter, I smiled and Chloe's gasp was audible. "Oh my God, Ryan!" She picked up the ring and smiled over at me. "It's beautiful!"
The assistant smiled and pointed down at the case, "I have a matching necklace for that. Would you like me to grab it?"
I nodded and she pulled out the necklace, placing it beside the ring.
"Ryan, you have to get these for her."
I sighed, "But Skye isn't very into jewelry."
"She might not be, but she'll love them." When I gave her a disbelieving look, she smiled reassuringly. "I guarantee you."
I looked down at the necklace and ring and I almost told the cashier to put them back. But what else would I get her?
And, just something about them screamed Skylar to me
I smiled and nodded, "Okay, I'll take 'em."
When I walked out of the store a half hour later with a paper bag in hand, I looked over at Chloe, the same nervousness in my gut from earlier.
"Are you sure she'll like it?" I scratched the back of my neck and thought more and more about the gift. But then, I remembered Skye's tattoo and the infinity symbol.
Chloe smiled at me and nodded, "I'm sure Ryan."
I nodded and before we parted ways, I asked Chloe; "But there's one more problem." She raised her eyebrows and I smirked, "Where should I take her?"
She groaned and shook her head, "Think about Skylar and what she likes. You'll have to come up with this one on your own bud."
I groaned and hopped in my truck.
Where was I going to take her? Do I do something simple, like plan a movie day, or something better like go out to lunch or dinner?
I could do something inbetween, like go on a picnic or something.
