"A beautiful thing happens when we start paying attention to each other. It is by participating more in your relationship that you breathe life into it."

Skylar
"Skylar."
I groaned and rolled over on the extremely comfortable bed, "What?"
Ryan chuckled and in a morning voice said, "You have to get up."
I groaned again and opened my eyes slightly to look at Ryan, "Why?"
He smiled and swept a strand of my hair out of my eyes, "I made plans for us for today."
I smiled and stretched in bed, Ryan and my legs entangling further under the sheets. "Oh yeah? And what are those plans exactly?"
He shrugged and his smile turned to a smirk, "Get ready and you'll find out."
I rolled my eyes and stared up at the ceiling.
Last night, after Ryan admitted his undying love for me (I'm kidding. Sarcasm) Ryan wouldn't let me go. Not that I complained. So, we slept in his bed and talked about almost everything under the sun. And I'm happy we did, because if I had slept alone, the dream would've taken over last night. But, Ryan somehow keeps it away, which I thank the heavens for. It would be embarrassing to wake up in a pitch of screaming when you're sleeping with someone you like. That might be a slight turn off.
Ryan's hot breath fanned over my face, and my eyes snapped open. They met Ryan's stare and he smiled, leaning down to kiss me. My eyes closed as his lips brushed mine and I yearned to close the distance, but before I could, Ryan pulled away and chuckled, "Get ready."
I rolled my eyes and stood up in bed. After flipping him off, I walked into my bedroom to get ready.

An hour later, we pulled up in front of an old bar.
I glanced from the bar to Ryan, "This is where you wanted to take me? A bar?" I glanced at the time, "It's eleven. Is it even open?"
Ryan merely rolled his eyes and turned off the car, "Just come on."
I got out of the car and started to walk to the bar. Ryan walked up beside me and grabbed my hand, intertwining our fingers together. I smiled as his thumb brushed over my knuckles absentmindedly and he unlocked the door.
Why was it locked..?
When the door opened, he turned on the light to reveal an empty bar and stage. Ryan shut the door behind him, and threw the keys on the bar.
"Uh, what are we doing here?" I looked around the empty bar until Ryan's hot breath fanned over the side of my neck as his arms wrapped around my waist, "I wanted to hear you sing." He planted a kiss on the crook of my neck, making me moan slightly and bite my lip. He smiled and placed another one as he pulled my back tighter to his chest.
My eyes closed and I sighed, "But what's with the empty bar?" I breathed.
Ryan's hands slipped under my baggy shirt and held my waist securely. Almost like he was afraid I'd run away. I turned toward him and he smiled, "Dakota's dad owns this bar, so I thought that I'd make use of it and you could sing."
"Wouldn't the couch suffice?" I questioned with a raised eyebrow. I smiled nonetheless at the sweetness of the idea.
He smirked and a light blush crept up his cheeks, "Well I thought that this would make for a unique first date." he whispered. My cheeks turned a bright red also, and I bit my lip to hide my giddy smile. Ryan Matthew Gray was taking me to an old bar to hear me sing. On a date.
