Ella and I would be sent back home this afternoon. It was the three days till Christmas and school was being decorated with small pine trees in the corners and reefs being hung on fireplaces. Everything was so festive.
Aira, Denen and Brennen (who were staying over as well), Ella, and I were all walking back to the school for breakfast. The blizzard had made the snow deeper by at least 4 inches and everyone but me was wearing big puffy jackets. Snow fell lightly from the sky. According to the weather app on my phone we had set records for the longest days that snow has fallen in a row in Canadian history. We entered into the school and Aira, Brennen, and Denen spun around, making Ella and I freeze in our tracks.
"Look up." Aira said holding back laughter.
Ella and I looked up in unison to find mistletoe above our heads. "You're joking, right? I deadpanned. "Nope!" Laughed Brennen and Denen. Ella glared at me. "On the cheek at least..." I hoped.
"Nope!" Denen answered looking at the others. "A big smooch on the lips." He added making fish lips.
I looked at Ella, our faces red with, anger, embarrassment, and more. Quickly, I kissed Ella on the lips. Fire roared inside of me. The wildfire was back, but it needed to be extinguished right away. I had feelings for Rose; and Rose only. Dousing the flames we continued on walking Ella and I as far away as possible.
As we walked into the cafeteria I froze. "Denen, Brennen." I said seriously. "Look up."
Denen and Brennen groaned looking up at the green mistletoe. "He's my brother though!" Denen squealed in disgust.
"At least on the cheek..." Sighed Brennen.
"Nope! A big smooch on the lips." I ordered making fish lips.
Brenen and Denen quickly sprinted away in different directions, each bumping into a wall. The five of us laughed historically and continued on our way to the cafeteria.

We pulled up in front of my house. "Ok Jaxon." Mrs. Nicole told me. "You know what to do if you're in trouble?" I nodded. We had bean given a odd looking coin that if we pressed on both sides would send out a signal for help.
I got out of the car and ran into my house.
"Where were you!!!" Screeched my mom."Sorry mom, I just felt like running away..." I replied.
"The truth." She deadpanned. Quickly I came up with an excuse.
"I-I, my friend in the city overs mom just died so I went to go comfort him and then we got snowed in and I couldn't get home..." I lied. Luckily my nose didn't grow and I ran up the stairs to feed Remy.

My eyes creeped open. It was Christmas! I rushed down stares while pulling on my sweater and sat down on the couch with my parents. As my parents walked away from the sparkling tree I noticed a small box under the tree. It was wrapped in a silver paper with a bow on top. I picked it up and read the card.
Curiously I ran up stares and closed my door behind me. I opened the box up to find an old piece of paper.
Panic flooded through me. There was no known way to get the power of the Fire Elemental, and there was also no known way to do the transfusion. I put the paper down to find another peice of paper. Quickly I read it over.
I felt my jaw widen. The only reason Ella had survived the attack of the Surge Steeler must of been because she was a member of the Gifted Six. I texted Ella both pictures and awaited her response as I went down for breakfast.
