I walked down a path leading that lead to the stadium with all of Ice.
"Are you guys nervous?" Asked Sarah.
"Defiantly." James answered. Elise and I nodded.
"How about you John?" Asked James.
"I'm pretty confident in myself." He smiled. "I was number one in combat at my school back in New Zealand."Show off. I thought. We walked for a while more till we reached the stadium. The stadium was quite big. It towered up at least three stories. It was made of stone with a large entrance. We walked inside. A sign pointed to the left saying "follow to boys change room." and one on the right saying "follow to girls change room." James, John, and I walked to the change rooms.
The change rooms were narrow with two bathroom stalls, a shower, a sink, and a large bench on the right wall. The head boy of earth was handing out clothes. I walked up to him. "Element?" He asked.
"Ice." I answered
and he passed me a weird body suit. "Its to protect you." The Earth boy said. I pulled it on. It consisted of tight pants with a light blue stripe down it. The shirt was short sleeved and had light blue stripes going down the side. "Could I please have to lines!" Yelled the earth boy. "A to M, here. M to Z here." I joined the A to B group and followed the Earth Head to a room right outside of the change rooms full of chairs.I heard Mrs. Nicole's voice ring out from speakers outside. "Welcome everyone to the first Element Duel of the year! First up we have Abagail Winston against Aira Silk!
I watched a blond haired girl walk to a sliding door. It opened and she stepped inside. A TV in the corner of the room flashed on. The arena was completely dirt. It was quite large. I looked into the crowd there were mainly fourth, fifth, and sixth years, but I saw the occasional first, second, or third year. Two doors opened on either side of the arena and outstepped Aira with her head held high, and Abagail with her hands ready. Abagail and Aira each ran from the entrance. Aira quickly summoned a gust of wind and blew Abagail backwards. Quickly Abagail sent a blast of Lightening at Aira. The battle lasted for a few minutes but finally Aira won. Everyone in the Gifted Six had won their battles and now it was just me to fight.
"Jaxon Hill! And John Scott!" Nicole announced. Of course I was facing John. I stepped into the room and the sliding door shut behind me. A robotic voice came on.
"In this duel you will not be able to touch the walls, like most duels. No other changes will be made. If you pin down the opponent or make them touch the wall you win. Any serious injuries will had you banned from the next duel. The duel will begin in three, two, one." The recording stopped as another sliding door opened.
I stepped out, the sun blinding me momentarily. Quickly, as Mrs. Nicole cried "Go" I ran forward. Before John could attack I sent a wall of Ice up creating somewhere I could hide. John sent blasted Ice at the wall cracking it slightly. I ran from the wall, creating another one as John sent a blast at me. John ran towards the wall dodging my blasts. He sent a ball of Ice at me sending me flying back. I was only two feet from the wall. John sent another blast at me but I dodged it easily. I ran at John, dodging blasts. He punched me across the face sending blood flying onto the ground. John kicked me in the stomach sending me wincing in pain. John pinned my arms down.
"One!" The crowd chanted. "Two!" I closed my eyes. I refused to loose to John. Energy rushed through me. A blast came from me sending John spiraling back into the wall. Gasps came from the crowd as medics ran into the arena picking John up onto a stretcher.
"Jaxon Hill is the winner!" Nicole announced. My door opened and I ran off.

I walked back to the dorms alone. People walking near gasped and pointed. I sat on the couch alone. James burst through the door.
"What's your problem with him?" He yelled
"Nothing." I replied.
"Then why is he in a coma in the hospital?" He asked.
"Because we had a fight with our powers and I'm stronger than him." I countered and stormed off to my room.Rose came to my room later that day. She informed me that John had gotten a concussion and was free to go back to school on Monday.
"Thank you." I smiled. I was glad Rose was here. With out her, I would be alone right now.

Hey guys! Is it just me or does this book seem repetitive? There are some things in the first book that kinda mirror this but hopefully it's different enough. Chapter 3-7 were all pre-written about 10 days ago and I was kinda sloppy because I wanted to work on the re-write which by the way you can find a preview under my works. Better writing will start in episode 8.
Also I'm going to start asking you questions in these AN's so I know who reads every thing. Ok what is your zodiac sign? Tell me in the comments!
Cya later!!!
