A.N.- LOL. I got writer's block and decided to talk to Cleverbot for a little, and that's part of our conversation. Cleverbot is the shittt ahahaha. He knows what's up ;D

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Mr. Jones answered and gave me a worried look. “Zelly…I’m sorry, but now’s really not the time. He’s in a hell of a lot of trouble.” I shook my head violently. “It’s really important Mr. Jones. Please,” I whispered.

He looked into my eyes and nodded, letting me in. “Okay Zelly,” he said and led me to the living room. Clapper was sitting on the couch, literally shaking. His mom was giving him a furious glare, standing in front of him. His cheek was bright red from where she had no doubt slapped him.

He looked over at me and instantly stopped shaking. “Zelly,” he said and moved to get up. “You sit down right now Marco Jones!” his mom boomed. “I’m not done with you!”

“Well I’m done with you! My best friend needs me!” he snapped and got up. He came over to me and glared at his mom. “You can beat the shit out of me and shove soap down my throat later, but right now, Zelly needs me.”

His mom opened her mouth to start screaming, but Mr. Jones placed a hand on Clapper’s shoulder and shot her a look. “Let him go. We can yell at him later. Zelly really needs him,” he said quietly.

Clapper nodded and his dad took his hand off his shoulder. Clapper led me up to his room and we sat on his bed. “I don’t even know if Addison’s trying to get a hold of me and tell me anything because the bitch took my phone,” he grumbled.

“I don’t know what to do now, Clapper. I thought he was going to break up with me for that Kelly chick…but now he’s cheating on me with that Skye chick. The fuck,” I whispered. “Dude, I’ll beat the shit out of him. I don’t care if he’s my girlfriend’s brother. No one fucks with you,” he said fiercely.

“I should talk to him,” I said with a sigh. “No. He doesn’t deserve to have you talk to him. You’re, like, the king of all chinks. Fuck him,” Clapper said and I shook my head. “Maybe…” “It was a misunderstanding? You’re right Zelly. I can definitely see how he could confuse a Caucasian female with a male chink. Got it. Maybe you should apologize to him for overreacting, eh?”

“Don’t say eh. You’re not Canadian,” I said quietly. He rolled his eyes. “Zelly, wake up. He cheated on you. Don’t fucking talk to him. He’ll lie to you. Say it was a mistake, or she came onto him or whatever the fuck.”

I stayed and talked to Clapper for a while before deciding I should go home before my parents freaked out too much. I knew they were going to be worried about me. Clapper’s house phone had rung a couple times and I was fairly sure it was my mom calling to make sure I was still there.

“Thanks, Clap,” I said sincerely as I went to the front door. “No problem Zelly. Call my house phone if you need to talk, like, voice to voice. Text my old iPod if you just want to kill the time,” he said with a shrug, keeping his voice down so his mom wouldn’t overhear him and take his old iPod away. That would leave him with no way to talk to anyone.

I left his house and began to make my way back towards mine. I froze when I got to my house and nearly turned around and ran right back to Clapper’s.

But Adam had spotted me, and he got up off my porch and came over to my frozen form. “It wasn’t what you thought you saw,” he said flatly. “What? My boyfriend cheating on me?” I asked, feeling my emotions creeping back up on me.

“Zelly, she kissed me. I didn’t kiss her back. I swear,” he said, his voice hard but his eyes sincere. “That’s not what it looked like to me Adam,” I said, my voice going emotionless as well. “Well you saw wrong!” he cried angrily. “I wouldn’t cheat on you!”

“Bullshit! You did!” I cried furiously, and turned away in embarrassment as tears came to my eyes. I felt his arms wrap around me as my knees went weak. He was the only thing keeping me from crumpling to the ground and bursting into tears.

“Zelly, please. I didn’t cheat on you. I swear!” he said desperately. I squeezed my eyes shut. Fuck. How could I believe him?

                                                                                ***Adam’s POV***

Fuck. He didn’t believe me. I was telling the truth, though! Skye kissed me and I didn’t kiss back! I wouldn’t cheat on anyone, especially not Zelly. It wasn’t my fault Skye had a crush on me and came to the faulty logic that kissing me would make me want to marry her and give her a fairy tale ending.

“You’re scared of commitment, because you don’t want to end up like your parents. So instead of risking falling in love with me, you cheated on me. I get it, Adam,” he whispered.

“The first part is true. I am afraid of commitment because of my parents. But I wouldn’t cheat on you. Ever. I swear,” I whispered before forcing him to turn around. I pressed my lips to his deeply, willing him to believe me. I hadn’t cheated on him. I never would. I wasn’t that kind of guy. I was a bastard, but I wasn’t a fucking cheater.

“Why should I believe you?” he demanded angrily, trying to fight back tears. “Because I’m in love with you!” I blurted out sincerely and both of our eyes widened.
