Lila's POV
Three, exceedingly long, days after that look-alike popped up in the mall, I decided to head back to school. Elle was missing me so much, and said she wanted somebody to sit with her at the table again.
Reluctantly, I agreed, but just for her. Now, I stand in front of my closet, hoping to find an unnoticable outfit.
My fingers file through the shirts and pants, finding everything has some flashy band name or embellishment. Looking at what I have left, my eyes graze past a blue and red, ombre sweater, which reminds me of a flame rising.
The material was comfortable, and felt ideal for me to wear. I find a thick, black jacket and some dark blue jeans to pair with the sweater. This is as plain as it's going to get, considering my eccentric wardrobe.
My hair is gently pulled into a braid that rests over my shoulder. Finally, I head downstairs. Mom has put out a warm plate of bacon and eggs, which I in turn gulp down like a pig. She has always been the
I spot my backpack on the couch, with a note from Mom. Be careful. I love you. °•○●Momma
A grin finds it's way to my lips, the simple note making me feel warm inside. She's so protective, and that's something you can never take away from my mother.
My backpack falls across my shoulder, and I grab my phone, beginning the short walk to school.
The streets are abandoned once more today, even if it's only fifty degrees. It's not that cold, knowing that in Indiana we stay out for a while before retreating to our homes.
I push the curious thoughts from my mind, approaching the gigantic wooden doors that open to the front of the school.
My locker is close to the front, but I still have to shuffle and maneuver my way carefully through the crowds of people laughing and talking to one another.
Elle is waiting at my locker, looking beyond excited. The second her eyes lock with mine, she darts towards me like a cheetah. I'm absorbed in her arms, unable to escape from her iron grip.
"Lila! I missed you so much!" She exclaims, releasing me.
I rub my sore arm, still smiling,"I missed you too, I just didn't have the heart to do anything about it."
Her eyes start to water,"Lila, I don't care if you're going to London. I'll never stop being your best friend."
I can't seem to stop grinning, why do I deserve such an amazing friend? She opens my locker for me, and I'm surprised to see it's filled with streamers and a bag of candy.
I gasp,"Elle! You're too sweet!" She smiles like a toddler, and gives me a kiss on the cheek. I take out the candy and pop a mini chocolate bar in my mouth.
Elle takes the responsibility of filling my backpack, while I rolls my eyes at how eager she is to help. "Come on, Miss. Halsten doesn't want to wait on us."
Tessa's POV
A crimson halter top and black jacket are slipped onto my torso, matched with a pair of similarly colored jeans. I figured, I had to tell Cristal about going to London at some point, might as well do it sooner than later.
I grab a granola bar and my backpack as I head towards the car. Once again, the streets are barren, allowing me to arrive to school quickly.
The halls are crowded, making it harder to get through the crowds of people. Everybody tries to stop and give me hugs, but I have to push them off.
I get lots of happy looks, and,"Hey you're back!"
I force a smile on my face, waving back to others, before finally getting to my locker.
Cristal and Emona are waiting by the door, both texting.
I run up, "Hey girls!!"
The both squeal, and envelope me in their caring grasps. I can't stop grinning, and they are looking me over, as if wondering what had actually happened.
I begin filling my backpack while I talk,"Guys, we need to talk. Meet me in the library at lunch. In the meantime, let's get to Mr. Lanters class. He's too scary to give any leeway."

After grabbing a salad, chips and a lemonade, I find my way to the library. Cristal and Emona wait eagerly for my arrival.
Cristal slides a seat out for me as I approach, which I plop onto.
"Ok Tessa, what is it. We are here for you." Cristal assures me.
I take in a deep breath, preparing for the chaos that is sure to ensue.
"Ok, you know I love you both so much," I grab each of their hands,"But my parents enrolled me in some place called GY Academy."
They both gasp, and Emona starts to tear up,"Well... how do we enroll? We'll just go too!"
I sigh,"I'm sorry girls, but it's in London, and you can't apply. They look for certain criteria. I am going to be there at least 6 years."
Cristal starts crying, and I take her in my arms,"Sh, it's ok. I still have 3 weeks with you guys! We can do whatever you want!"
She sniffles, and dabs under her eyes with a napkin. "O- Okay. Is my makeup running?"
I laugh, I inspecting her cheeks,"No. You're beautiful as always."
They both grin widely,"Why do we deserve someone as amazing as you?" Emona asks.
I shake my head,"You got it wrong, I'm lucky to have you. And now I'll be alone in London with no fashion experts and boy advisors."
No one had much of an appetite after that.
