Tessas POV

When we get to the assembly, the only seats left are in the back. We file in the crowded room, and look at the front.

Most of the administration is up front.  Mr... I mean Dean Capaldi paces up front.

"It looks to be that everyone is here, so we will get started." He says, his eyes skimming over the crowd. We all shift, wondering what we were all called for.

"We do realize some of you may still be getting used to this situation, but nevertheless we will be starting classes tommorow."

You can here some groans from the crowd, and the other teacher send deadly cold looks to the students.

"It may not be ideal for you, but going to this academy was inevitable, because of your powers. Our classes are based around the gifts, and we hope you will at least enjoy them more than mortal classes."

A couple 'Woots' ring out. I smile, I already know this life will be better. Especially if me and my mom's plan works out.

"You will normally have 15 minutes between classes. This is a result of the large size of the school, and we prefer you get some socializing with your peers, in regards to power."

I look at Lila,Sure, socializing in regards to power. I think not. She covers her mouth to keep from giggling, and gets a weird look from Karli and Molli.

"We will have a monthly assembly to discuss progress in our students and new goals for the next month. We do have peculiar times, our classes go to late  August, and begin in early December."

I roll my eyes. What's the point of having break in fall! We can't go to any beaches, or pools. I reluctantly draw my attention back to the Dean.

"In May, you will also have a 3 week break. We expect you to control yourself in the periods, and only use your powers in secure places. We have guards and citizens that keep an eye on all of you, so we will know if you misbehave." He gives a scary as hell eye to everyone, I feel like shrinking down.

"As of now, I expect you have read the rules and observed the map. The first few days, there will be exceptions, but after that there will be consequences. You may be dismissed."

Everyone jumps up, eager to get out of the intimidating aura in the air. We head back to our dorms, and Chris and Audrey come to Lila and I's dorm.

Lila and I sit on my bed, and they sit on Lila's. "What did you need?" Lila and I say. They give each other a worried look.

Chris talks for them,"Well. This guy came to us when we first got here. He said that when there are twins, like you guys and us. They said that usually one or both become corrupt. We would like to think it isn't going to happen, but we figured we should warn you."

My throat becomes dry. Is that why Mom told me the plan and not Lila. No, I won't become corrupt.

"Well, I think they were just trying to freak you guys out. I think we can trust each other enough." Lila speaks up.

I love how hopeful she is, but it is still itching in the back of my mind. I sit up,"How bout this! We make some popcorn, turn on a movie and put this behind us. I'm sure we all know people here can be complete jerks."

They look down,"I guess." They say in unison. I smile, going to the kitchenette. I grab a pack of popcorn and throw it in the microwave.

Lila grabs some bottles of coke and throws them on the bed.

"I call choosing the movie!" Audrey says, snatching the remote control. I laugh, pulling the popcorn out of the microwave. Chris helps me divide it in bowls.

When I walk back, Audrey has picked Ant-man. "You ok with this?" She asks, raising an eyebrow. "Sure." I say, sitting on my bed.

We start the movie, knowing this will have to be the last relaxation before classes.

When the movie ended, Karli and Molli came in, so we watched Finding Dory. When we are finally finished, it's about 6:00.

"Do you guys want to head to the cafe for dinner?" Audrey asks, popping up off the bed. We answer with a chorus of 'Sure!'s and 'Of course!'

I turn off the TV and Lila puts the popcorn bowls and bottles in the kitchenette."Let's go!" Chris urges, pushing us out the door. I glare at him as I lock the room behind us.

Karli and Molli hold each other's hands and skip down the hallway. I giggle as they start singing some song about how the are the best friends in the world.

Once we get to the cafe, we send Chris to grab some burgers and fries. The girls pick a seat near the middle, with very few others talking around us.

"I cant beleive we get to ditch all those stupid normal classes. These new ones tommorow will be so much better." Audrey says.

"But school wasn't that hard!" Molli says. The older of us laugh,"That's because you haven't gotten to high school." Lila says.

I roll my eyes,"Definitely the truth." I'm really wondering now how different this will all be.
