One week later

I yawn, stretching my arms. "Wake up sleeping beauty!" I hear. I look over to see Rose. I shoot up, forgetting how I got here.

"When did I come over?" I ask. She shrugs,"I dunno. Maybe 8 last night. Why can't you remember?" I shake my head, and rub my eyes. Whatever. People forget things all the time.

When I swing my legs over the bed I see that she has a plate of chocolate waffles waiting for me on a fold out table.

"I know chocolate is your favorite!" She says with a wink. I smile,"Yes it is. Thank you Rose!" I squeal. I am about to dig in, but she slides a little bowl of some kind of whipped cream to me.

"Nutella whipped cream. I made it. She says, pointing to the messy counter. I swear my head goes into a state of chocolate wonderland.

"We would do so well married." I joke. She laughs,"Why is that?"
"Well duh! I could go to work and get dirty and whatever, and you could do the cooking and do daycare for our 10 million babies." I giggle.

She laughs,"Is that so? Well, I was thinking 2 kids but 10 million works!"

I smile,"We can have however many you want. But you know, if we get married one day, we have to be officially dating."

I don't even realize what I said before it comes out if my mouth.
"Well then we are official."Rose says without hesitation.

I dart my eyes to her,"Wait, seriously?!"
She nods,"Besides, I've had my eyes on you since the day I saw you. Physically and literally."

My heart melts,"You just made my day  Rose."

She smiles, giving me a kiss on the cheek,"I'm the stay at home mom, isn't that what I'm supposed to do?" She winks, before going to the kitchenette to clean up.

Once I finish eating, we head to my dorm room to see if Tessa is done with the cookies for our Christmas party.

I walk straight in, and see Tessa lying on the floor, staring at the ceiling.

"Get up lazy dork." I say. She snaps her head in on my direction.

Sorry Mom. Not right now. I promise I'll do it soon.

It's been a while since we talked that way. It surprises me. "Why were you talking to Mom?" I ask, checking on her oven.

She shrugs,"Just talking. She knows you've been busy lately."

"I guess that is right."

Tessa grabs an oven mitt and pulls out the pan of Green and red cookies. The sweet aroma from them fills the room. I sigh, "Smells like what my other mom used to make." I laugh. Tessa smiles,"Glad you like them, because she sent me the recipe!"

I cheer, grabbing a piping hot cookie from the tray. I can say, heat doesn't even phase me anymore. Tessa laughs as I eat a whole cookie in one bite, and rub my stomach.

"Only a few, everyone else probably wants some." She scolds, much like my other mom as well. I eat one more before starting to prepare a chicken dip for the Christmas party.

We are all making something, even Karli and Molli. I season the chicken and put it in the oven to cook while I pick out something to wear. We all agreed to be a little bit fancy but nothing like a formal.

I grab out a crimson red sweater dress and neutral pantyhose. Lastly, Tessa lends me a pair of shoes she thinks are,"absolutely magnificent" with the dress.

By the time I finish laying out a dress, the chicken is ready. I grab out a bowl, mix the chicken with a cheese sauce, and season it, and put it on a little plastic tray.

"Lila hurry up! we have a half hour till we need to leave!" Tessa yells from the bathroom. I roll my eyes, that girl seems to think 30 minutes is 10 minutes my time, I have plenty long before I need to finish up.

I put Tessa's cooled cookies in a box, and go to get dressed. Tessa does my hair and makeup, and I just sit there bored out of my mind as she explains,'winged liner' and 'contouring'.

Finally, we are both ready for the party.
