I immediately get in the shower once I get back. Honestly, I smell like a teenage boy after I work out.
I peel off my work out clothes, and toss them in the laundry hamper. Carefilly, I take the flower from my hair, laying it on the sink.
I hear a knock at the door,"Is that you Lila?" Tessa says.
"No, it's Kermit the Frog!" I joke.
"Dork."
"Loser."
"Love you Lila!"
"Love you Tess!"
I turn the shower nossel, and run the warm water. When I step in, the water feels like heaven on my sore muscles. I sigh, letting it run over me for a little while.
Once I feel completely relaxed, I wash my hair and body. Another bang rings at the door.
"Lila get out! Water hog!" Tessa yells through door.
I roll my eyes,"Alright alright!"
I turn the water off, and wrap a towel around my chest. Of course, I grab the flower from Rose. I walk out, and Tessa goes in right behind me.
I lock the door so nobody walks in, and put on my pj's. My thoughts are swarmed with one person, one name, one flower. Rose.
Do I get crushes too easily? She was so kind, and was so gorgeous, I couldn't resist. And not to mention she new our parents before they turned!
That is really amazing. She told me her parents were the first ones to know about me and my sister.
Rose, really is, perfection.
Getting my mind off the beauty, I grab my gym bag to clean it out. When I pull out my water bottle, I see a little paper on the handle.
Text me, 123- 456- 7890 Had to make the number fake.
I start blushing uncontrollably. "I sense a crush!" I hear from behind me. I whip my head around to see Tessa wiggling her eyebrows.
I smile,"Maybe?"
She squeals,"Yay! I'll be your wing girl!"
I laugh,"Fine, whatever you want sis." She smiles like a mad man, and I get ready for the interrogation.
"What's his name?" She asks.
"Her."
"Ok, what's her name?"
"Rose."
"Looks?"
"Gorgeous beyond beleive," I reply, imagining her beautiful silken voice and perfect hair and body.Tessa giggles,"Daydreaming much?"
I look down smiling,"A little.""What can she do?" Tessa asks.
"Nature." I say, pulling out the flower."Well you are definitely crushing, hard." She says, giving me the most mischevious look ever.
I roll my eyes,"I call on you when I need you. For now, let's get some rest."
She groans,"Fine. But keep me updated on everything."
"Can do."We turn off the lights, and Tessa goes to sleep.
I, on the other hand, pull out my phone and text Rose immediately.
Hey Rose. This is Lila. Remember me?
I start off casual, not wanted to come off to strong.
Hey Lila. I was hoping you'd text me
I smile, so she really does perhaps like me back.
How are you doing? We didn't get to talk enough at the gym
Fine for now. My parents didn't want me to come here. We got in a fight, and we aren't even in speaking terms. But I'm pushing past it. I'm hoping that I'll have a nice Christmas by myself
I frown. I didn't realize she was going through such a tough time. It really upsets me.
You know, that's pretty sad😢 There's always some room here for Christmas!
If Tessa is my wing woman, then no doubt she would not mind me having Rose over.
Seriously! That's so sweet! I thought I was coming on too strong there ;)
My heart skips a beat. Did she really just say that. Well, better now than never.
Can I ask you something?
My stomach fills with butterflies, waiting for a reply.
Anything you need sweets!
Every thing she says melts my heart.
Do you want to go on a date?
I hesitantly hit send, so nervous. Really, the worst thing she could say is,"I'm straight."
She doesn't answer for a few minutes.
Finally...
Of course!
I start squealing, and I hear Tessa groan. "Go to sleep!" I giggle,"But she said yes! We are going on a date!"
Tessas eyes open,"That's great, but I am too tired to fangirl right now."
I laugh, and get back to Rose.
You free Friday? We could go downtown and get a hotel. I always wanted to go sightseeing.
Her response is automatic.
There's nothing I'd rather do more.
Ok, hope you enjoyed this rather short chapter. I swear if I get one hate comment about Lila being lesbian I might have to hit someone. Which might be my sister.
I am joking, but please, she is lesbian, deal with it, don't be so conservative. Love you guys!
