Chapter-18

Jennifer POV

My terrible nightmare had awoken me to suddenly. I was lost in the silk sheets, still half asleep.

The sun peeked into the bedroom windows, lighting my face, I stretch myself and felt the bed bigger, empty and cold.

I fully opened my eyes, and saw that Jack wasn't beside me, I slowly sat up and stretch myself.

"Where is daddy at mhmm?" I asked my babies while caressing my belly. Before getting up I did my morning prayer and pushed myself up.

He wasn't in the living room neither outside. I grabbed my phone from the kitchen counter I saw I had twenty missed calls from Mark, and three messages, I ignored and dialed Jack number. It went straight to the voice mail.

I opened Mark text messages and I almost had a heart attack.

The first text was saying: "Hey I heard you and our Boss are dating is that true?"

The second: "Is he your baby daddy? Is that why he acted so weird that day in the office?

Third: "I'm trying to call you and I see that you are really ignoring, anyway I won't bother you anymore I just wanted to say I'm sorry for Jack car accident I hope he gets well soon, I will be here if you need me."

My heart falls, I feel helpless, I shake my head in disbelief while asking myself why did this have to happen, was there something I could have done to stop it.

Yes there was, this is all my fault I'm the one who asked him to go buy me something to eat.

I can't believe I fall asleep without noticing that he hadn't come home. If something happens to him I will never forgive myself, I sat down shacking uncontrollably I need to calm down for my babies, but I couldn't I felt the water creep out of my eyes.

"What will I do now?" I grabbed my phone and called Mark, he was the only person I know that could help me.

"Hey Mark, I need your help." I say.

Jack POV

I woke up in a white room with bunch of wires attached to me.

My mind is fuzzy, I don't know what has happened to me everything is blurry I blink, shut my eyes, blink again and I then manage to fully open both eyes.

I see two blonde woman and a old woman standing beside me. I try to get up, but my body feels too weak for that, I move my hand a little trying to get their attention. But they don't notice.

"Who am I? Why am I here? Who are these people?" I can't remember what happened, how did I get here.

Small memories of my childhood comes back, and I recognize my mom. I look at the other woman trying to remember who she was, when I feel I huge pain in my head. I close my eyes trying to make it go away.

When I opened again I remember her, its

"My son is awake doctor." The old woman with grey hair yells.

I start getting few of my memories again, I remember my name, my friends and family, what I do for leaving, and sight in relief.

I try to move my legs and don't feel anything, I try touching them, but I still don't feel them.

I look at my mom and ask her, "What's happening to me mom?"

She doesn't say anything just looks at my legs and cry.

I see someone pushing the door, it most be the doc at least he will be able to tell me what the fuck is wrong with me.

Mark my employee walks in with a black, pregnant woman crying and holding her stomach, she ran towards my bed and kisses me.

"YOU can't do that, can't you see he's still hurt bitch." My fiancé yells.

I try to speak but nothing would come out.

Everything is so confusing I don't know who this woman is, neither why she kissed me.

"I'm sorry baby, I'm so sorry this is all my fault." She says caressing my face.

"W...ho are yo... u...." I manage to ask.

She looks at me like I just told her she's gonna die.

She lets go of me, and o feel like I have been stabbed in the heart for some reason.

She looks like she was losing balance I try to get up to hold her when Mark grabs her.

I feel everything spinning around, and my eyes slowly shutting themselves.

When the doctor walks in, and I blank out.
