Iara~
You know that saying, that time passes when you're having fun? I guess it applied to me. The days spent learning and having fun dragged into weeks and months, until I had spent nearly half a year with Eragon. It was winter now. Too cold for my taste. I walked over to the window. All of the Sky Blossoms had died with the chill, and small white shapes drifted towards the ground.
"Eragon, is that snow?"
"It is. Have you never seen snow before?"
"I remember you telling me about it, but no."
"Pretty, isn't it?"
"It is. Where did you see your first snow?"
"Where I grew up, in the Spine."
"Aren't those the mountains that border the sea?"
"Yep." Small conversations like that took up most of the time. I loved how peaceful it was here, how quiet it was. But it was too constant, the same schedule over and over on repeat, the only changes being the conversations and whatever I was learning. Was this all being a rider was? Was this it?
