Missing

The group was on the road again.

They had no idea where they were going.

Shane suggested that they head for Fort Benning.

For once in her life, Katie actually agreed with Shane. She thought that Fort Benning would be safe and well-armed.

The group came up on a pile up of cars on the interstate.

The abandoned cars were right in the way of the caravan of vehicles.

Only Daryl's motorcycle could fit through the cars.

All of a sudden, the RV died.

"Shit," Katie muttered to herself, cursing the RV mentally.

Dale couldn't get it to start back up again.

Katie already hated the rust bucket and this just gave her yet another reason to despise it.

They figured that this was the perfect opportunity to stock up on supplies by raiding cars.

Katie walked around and looked through cars.

She gathered some canned foods, some water bottles, and some clothes.

She brought them back to the group and organized them in the trunk of her car.

She went back out and kept searching.

She was standing across from Lori, Carol, and the kids when Rick ran by and told them to get under the cars.

Carol and Lori climbed under a car together.

Sophia went under a car.

Carl went under a different car.

Katie went under the car that she was searching.

Rick ran back by them and right before the walkers turned the corner, he slid under the car that Katie was under.

"Nice of you to drop by," Katie whispered teasingly.

She always made bad timed jokes.

Timing was not a talent of hers.

Lori had her hand over Carol's mouth to stop her from crying out.

A walker caught Sophia's scent and it saw her try to climb out from under the car. It started to climb under the car after her.

Katie's heart dropped into her stomach.

Sophia ran out from under the car and went into the woods.

Rick got out from under the car and followed Sophia into the woods.

The remaining members of the group waited for the herd to pass by.
