Katie woke up the next morning in bed with Rick, still smiling.
She flipped over on to her other side to wake him up.
They had a long day ahead of them.
Katie had to go and relieve whoever was on watch.
She gently kissed him repeatedly until he woke up with a big smile on his face, making Katie laughed.
He kissed her smile, making her laugh even harder.
"Good morning sunshine," Katie said lightly.
"Well, good morning to you too," Rick said sarcastically.
Katie got up from the bed, letting go of the sheet that covered her bare form.
Rick watched her hips sway as she walked to the bathroom.
She could feel his eyes piercing her skin.
She turned around, her hair flipping in what seemed like slow motion and smirked at him.
"Are you sure you have to go?" Rick asked.
"I don't know. You're the boss. This is your town," Katie said licking her bottom lip gently.
Rick laughed.
"You didn't answer quick enough, sheriff. Looks like I'm going to work on time this morning," Katie laughed.
"Definitely not fair," Rick said sarcastically.
"You're on baby duty today. Don't let Carl get into any more fights," Katie said, pulling her flannel on.
"What do you mean any more fights?" Rick asked quickly.
"Like I said. I need to get to work on time," Katie said with a mischievous smile.
She zipped up her jeans and walked out of the bedroom.
"Katie! What do you mean any more?" Rick called after her.
"I can't hear you," Katie said covering her ears.
Rick got up out of the bed, forgetting that he was still naked as he walked into the hallway.
"Oh my God. Dad at least put some clothes on. I can't unsee this. I think I'm blind. Like I knew you guys were doing it, but I didn't need visual proof," Carl said, covering his eyes and running down the stairs.
Katie laughed hysterically and threw a towel at him.
"You seemed to like me like this last night," Rick said sarcastically.
"Like I said, this shit is how people get on the sex offender registry," Katie laughed as Rick walked over to her.
"Is that so?" Rick asked, pulling her hips towards him.
