Guns
Rick and Katie followed the noise to the infirmary.
When they heard the voice inside, their hearts dropped into their stomachs.
Carl.
"You die," Carl said to the Savior in front of him.
Carl had his gun raised towards the man.
"Shit," Katie muttered.
They quickly ran inside.
"Carl," Katie said quickly.
"Carl, put the gun down," Rick begged.
"No. They're taking all of our medicine," Carl said, ignoring his father.
"Carl, put the damn gun down," Katie said harshly, knowing that in his anger, he wouldn't respond to anything but harshness.
"They said only half our stuff," Carl said.
"Oh-ho. Really kid?" Negan said as he walked into the room.
"And you should go. Before you find out how dangerous we all are," Carl said, turning to face Negan.
"Well, pardon me, young man. Excuse the shit out of my goddamned French, but did you just threaten me?" Negan asked.
Katie's whole body tensed.
She didn't want anyone else to die.
The two people she loved most in the world were standing in the room with her and she knew that if Negan wanted to kill someone it would be either her or Carl.
He needed Rick alive.
"I get threatening Davey here, but I can't have it. Not him, not me," Negan said.
"Carl, just put it down," Rick begged.
"Don't be rude, Rick. We are having a conversation here. Now, boy, where were we? Oh right! Your giant, man-sized balls. No threatening us. Look, I like you, so I don't want to go hard proving a point here. You don't want that. But I said I would take half your shit and half is what I say it is. I'm serious. Do you want me to prove how serious? Again?" Negan asked.
Katie inhaled sharply.
"That's not necessary," Katie said quickly, trying to reason with an unreasonable man.
Negan turned around to look at her.
"Look, doll face, the men are talking here. Why don't you pipe down and just do your job and that is just to look pretty for a damn minute?" Negan said to her.
