As she was walking towards the cul-de-sac, Katie saw Eugene and Abraham talking down the street.

It looked important and almost secretive.

Katie wanted to make sure everything was okay, so she walked over to them.

"Secrets, secrets are no fun--" Katie started in a sing song voice.

"Unless you share with everyone," Abraham finished.

"I do not know this adolescent chant," Eugene said in a monotone voice.

"It's an honor to be greeted by the First Lady. It's nice to see you up and about," Abraham joked.

Katie laughed lightly.

"Everything okay over here?" Katie asked Abraham quietly.

"I need a favor," Abraham said.

"Anything," Katie said.

"I hate to ask, but Eugene and I are headed out for a little bit. I need you to keep Rick off our scent for a little," Abraham said.

"What are you doing, Abe?" Katie asked, starting to get concerned.

"Eugene wants to head out. He won't tell me why. He just told me where. I don't want this to be widely known just yet. Because once one person finds out, it spreads faster than chlamydia," Abraham said.

Katie chuckled slightly.

"And how do you expect me to keep him off your ass?" Katie asked, hands on her hips, one hip jutted out, eyebrows raised.

"I don't know. Put him on yours?" Abraham said.

Katie's eyes widened.

"Abraham Ford!" Katie gasped, punching his chest lightly.

"I'll cover for you. Just for a few hours. If you're not back soon, I'm blowing your cover and sending out a search party," Katie said.

Abraham nodded.

"Understood," Eugene interjected.

Katie and Abraham both turned around to look at him in a synchronized motion.

"Stay out of it!" They said in unison.

"Thank you, Katie," Abraham said.

"You got it, Red," Katie said with a smile.

She walked them to the front gate.

The guards were in the process of changing so there was no one at the gate.

She opened it for them quickly.

"Stay safe," Katie said.

"Scout's honor," Abraham promised, saluting her.
