Life Turned Upside Down

Meredith's POV
Me and Alex have been dating for a couple months now. I woke up and got ready for work. At Seattle grace , a girl who I didn't know was talking to the chief. Still mad at him by the way. I see Alex talking to this girl too. I didn't think anything was up to anything. So ignored it , probably a bad a idea.

"Hey Alex" I say to him.

  "Hey Mer" he says back. I thought it was kinda of weird, but I ignored it anyway.

   When the blonde came up to me. Alex started to come by me. Weird huh.  "You most be the woman, that has been screwing my husband" the women said to me in rude tone."I don't know what your talking about. I say back to her."Yes you do, I'm Izzie Karev." she tells me."Did you say Karev"? I questioned her. Yes, I'm Izzie Karev his wife" she told me rudely. I felt like all the air in my body was taken out and letting me suffocate. Just then Alex come up to me and this Izzie girl."Izzie, what are you to here"? Alex asks her." Alex, your married! I yelled at Alex and ran away in tears.

Alex's POV
After Meredith ran out crying. I felt so bad, I wasn't cheating, we were separated. I love Meredith and I didn't want hurt her. I had to find her, but when I found her she was talking to Cristina and George. I walked into the bar. I could see the anger in George. All a sudden he pops me in the jaw.

"How dare you do that to Meredith!" George screams at me as he shoves me against the wall. I had to admit he was pretty strong.

"George let me explain" I pleaded him. He let's go of me.

   I look over where Mer and Christina were sitting. I start to walk over to her. "Meredith can I talk to you"? I ask her. "Fine you have 5 mins to explains this to me" she says as she grabs my hand and pulls me into a room.

"Meredith I'm so sorry. Izzie and I were married. I caught her having sex with Derek . I forgave her first time. Then I caught Izzie having sex with mark Sloan one of other best friends. I didn't even tell her it was over. She destroyed me. I was actually happy with you more then I was with her" I confess to her.

"Alex I'm sorry but that's not enough for me" she tells me and walks off. I can't believe I lost her. I messed up big time.

Meredith's POV
After I ran out of work. I went Joe's.
I sat at the bar and I ordered a tequila. I saw Cristina and George.

"Hey" I say to them. "Hey Mer" Cristina say to me."Alex is married" I told them as I took a sip of my tequila. George spit out his drink. Cristina just looked at me and gave me a hug. That wasn't like her, but I didn't care.

   Later that night 10 shots later. I was drunk, I saw Derek come in and sat next to me.  "Hey Meredith" Derek says to me."Hey Derek" I said back."What happened to you"? Derek asks me."Alex is married" I told Derek trying not to cry.  He gave me a hug. But I leaned in for a kiss.

We went back to my place. He took off my shirt. I took of his shirt and unbuckled his pants. He kissed my neck and I kissed his. I woke up the next day with no clothes and I smelled like a bar. I saw Derek in my bed. Everything I started to remember last night. Me and Derek having sex.  

"Derek, Are you up"? I ask.

Derek."Now I am up" Derek says back.

After we get dressed and wash up. We go to work. This going a long day. We walk in and Alex is just staring at me and Derek. He looked hurt but mostly mad too. I walked away and went to the locker room. Alex came into locker room.

"Meredith" Alex yells after me.

"What Alex what was I to you"? The girl you screwed to get over being screwed"! I yelled and cried at Alex.
