Forgive or forget?

Mer's pov
I can't believe I'm finally a Karev. It's was still my wedding day. I was completely surprised when Izzie told us about her tumor. But at the same time I was very upset at her for just leaving and never coming back. We were in middle of getting cake. When Izzie came up to talk to Alex. I could tell Alex was trying to give a chance to explain why she is here.

"Izzie, what's going on"? Alex asks. "The tumor is back". That's why I came back and it was making me do crazy things like this". "Izzie, why didn't you ever call us"? I ask. "I thought you wouldn't want me here, I'm sorry for treating that way" she apologizes. "Iz, it's okay", I said. "No it's not I treated you all like shit" Izzie confesses. I was confused why she was here. But I also missed her.

Alex's pov
When Izzie told me that the tumor was back from heart broke for her. Even after all she put me through she doesn't deserve this. We continued celebrating our wedding day. Not long after it was time to leave for me and Mer's honeymoon. I asked Cristina to watch the kids while we were gone. Mer got into the car and we drove to the airport. The we  destination picked was Hawaii. The ocean was very blue.

   Our first day was very tiring. Because of the jet leg we had. I got ready for our date. I picked this beautiful restaurant of of the coast. When Mer got their she was wearing a long red v Neck dress with cuts slashed across the back.
   "You look amazing" that's all I was able to get out. "You look handsome Alex" she said as she leaned in for a kiss. I pull out the chair for her. We order our food.
 
An hour later we finally are done eating. We get to our honeymoon suite. I lean into her and I take off her dress. I unzipped her dress like a flash. She starts kissing my neck. While I take off her red lacy panties from her legs. She kicks off her high heels. She continues to take off my clothes.

   The next morning I woke up with her my arms. I hope we made another baby. I know Mer's kind of tired of having kids but I only have two of my own. Zola is almost a teen. I can't believe it. It wasn't that long ago where I was just uncle Alex. Now I'm her step dad but she thinks of me as her second dad. I would never replace Derek. He will always be their father. And will always be Mer's first love. Izzie will always be my first love too. No one is replacing anybody.
