Mer's pov
Yesterday was a long day. Alex brought me home. I was pregnant and tired. I woke up to make the kids breakfast. But when I got down the stairs breakfast was already made.
   "Alex you made breakfast"? I asked with confusion. "Yes I made breakfast come sit down" Alex tells me to sit down. I sit down and enjoy the yummy looking fluffy,creamy pancakes. "Alex these are really good, how did you make them this good"? I asked him.
    "I learned from the best" He says as he gets up to wash his plate. "Alex it took me years to learn how to cook right" I told him. "I took cooking lessons"He confesses to me. "Oh Alex you don't have to prove that you have to be better. You are better" I tell him. "No I wanted to learn how to cook Mer" He tells me. I looked at the time it was time to bring the kids to school. Zola is 8 now. Wow time goes by fast. Baliey is 6 year old now and Ellis is 4 now. She's in in preschool. Zola is in 3 grade and baliey is in kindergarten. They are growing up so fast." Alex it's time to work its 6:30 in morning" I tell him. "Okay kids go get ready"Alex tells them.

   15 mins later... We finally we all ready. Luckily that they all are in grade school. We drop off the kids at school. We head to work. On our way there. There was accident. It was a ten car pile up. I look over at Alex. "It's going a long day" I say to him. " Lots of surgeries" He tells me. We finally get to work. I clock in and head to the locker room.
   After I got out of the locker room. I got to the pit. It was crowded and small with all the the patients. "What do we have here"? I asked the paramedic. "A 28 old male with a concussion from where his head hit the the steering wheel" The paramedic told me. "Okay let's take him off to the room 316" I tell my interns. We get upstairs and I feel a little tired so I asked George to take over. I go to the nearest on call room to lay down. An hour later.. I finally had more rest and went back to my patient.
Alex's pov
I hear Meredith's alarm and I decided to get up early and make them breakfast. Because I have been taking cooking classes to impress Mer. But I actually like cooking. The recipe calls for 1 cup of flour, two cups of milk and one egg. I mixed it all together. I was finally finished with the pancakes before Meredith came down the stairs. I heard her come down the stairs I looked over at her.
    "Alex you made breakfast"? She asked me. "Yes I made breakfast. After everyone was ready. We left the house. On the way to work there was accident." It's going to be a long day" Mer tells me. "A lot of surgeries" I told her.
     We finally get to work. Me and Mer clock in I headed to pit right away because I was already dressed. Dr. Baliey told me to take this patient up to the room. The patient is a girl with a broken bone. I paged Torres.

"What do we have here"? Callie asks me.

Kallie has a broken bone. "Okay kallie can I see your arm"? She asks Kallie. Kallie nods.

   "How would you rate the pain Kallie"? Callie asked her. Kallie starts to speak.

   "A 6 is the pain I'm having" Kallie tells us.

"Okay well I will have to do an Xray on your arm I will be right back" Callie tells her. Callie leaves the room.

  "Are you and Dr. Grey getting married"? Kallie asks me. "Yes we are getting married" I tell her. "My mom passed away 9 years ago I believe I'm your daughter" Kallie tells me. "Who was your mother"? I asked Kallie. "She was a surgeon at this hospital" Kallie tells me. Kallie is 11 years old. 11 years ago I was with Izzie. "Her name was Izzie Stevens" Kallie finally tells me.
    It was silent for 4 mins before Callie came back with wheel chair to take her to get her X-ray. I couldn't believe what I just heard. I got a DNA test it turns out Izzie was cheating on me while she had cancer. When Kallie came back from getting X-ray. "Hey Kallie" I said to her. "Hi Dr.Karev am I your daughter"? She asked me. "No Kallie I'm afraid not but I know who is your father" I told her. The words burned in my mouth knowing Izzie cheated on me with George.

   "Your father is this guy named George O'Malley" I told her. "You found out my father" she said as she hugged me. After I was done with Kallie because Callie said she could go home.

   "George"! I yelled at him. "Yes Alex are you okay" he asked me. "No I just found out that Izzie cheated on me with you and she had a baby who is now 11" I told him. "I'm a father" he said shocked. "It was a one time thing Alex, I don't even remember why she did it" he tells me. I was so anger with him I just walked away. I went to go find Meredith. She just finished with a patient.

    "Mer can I talk to you about something" I ask her. "Yeah sure Alex" she could sense me not being happy already. "What is it Alex"? She asked me. "I just found out my patient was Izzie child but it gets worse. Izzie cheated on me with George 11 years ago" I tell her and then the tears start to appear in my eyes I try to wipe them away but they kept going. "Oh Alex I'm sorry I had no idea" she says to and kisses me on the lips and wipes my tears. I know it weird I would always do it for her so she would do the same thing when I was upset. 24 hours later it was time to go home. I couldn't wait until my son was born.
