Bitter and Full Of Regret

Alex's pov
After I talked with Izzie. As I turn down the hall. I walk inside to see Mer talking to Riggs. Yeah he still here. It looked like a pretty tense talk. I couldn't hear anything. But Mer had this complete pissed look on her face. While Riggs had this cocky smirk on his face. God that guy still irks me. Meredith her face went white from whatever Riggs said. Riggs got closer to her.

  My stomach started turn and anger went through body. Meredith stands back and pushes Riggs away from her. But Riggs kept getting closer. Then he grabs Mer's face. My hands started to clinch up. But Mer this time didn't pull away and Riggs puts his lips to her's. Mer starts kissing back.

   My heart just shatters into millions of pieces. My throat goes dry. I had enough. I opened the door so fast that I didn't think about it. Mer's face still looks guilty.

   "How Could You Meredith"! I scream. Mer's face looked scared. "Alex I'm so sorry it didn't mean anything" Mer pleads. "Okay so tell me if I hadn't found you guys you wouldn't had sex with him"! I yelled in full rage. "Alex"! Mer says calmly. Where I'm still in rage.

  "What Mer"! I yelled again. "Alex please don't leave me. I'm so sorry. Riggs was drunk and I tried to push him away from me" Mer Explains with tears streamed down her face.

  "Oh really it didn't look like it. I saw it will my own Fucken Eyes Mer. So don't tell me you tried. Yeah you tried the first time. But you didn't walk away"! I snapped.

  "A l e x" Mer tries to speak but I caught her off.

"No Mer I don't want to hear it. I'm done bye Meredith"! I snapped again. With that I slammed the door behind me.

I walk to Bailey's office. I knock on her door. She says come in. Miranda's softened when she saw my face. They were bloodshot from crying.

"Alex, what happened"? Miranda asks.

"I just saw Meredith cheating on me with Riggs. I was going into the exam room. When I saw them in there" I explained as I continued cry.

"Oh Alex come here" Miranda says after I tell her everything. She petted my head that was laying on her shoulders. I stay silent.

"Alex I'm so sorry about what Meredith did to you". She says sympathetically.

  "I just can't believe she would do this. This is the third time someone has cheated on me" I croak out.

  "Third"? Miranda asks. I finally answer when I get my voice back.

  "Izzie cheated on me twice when we were married. Derek was the first time. The next time is was Mark. And now Riggs" I explained as I fell into pile of sorrows.

   "I had no idea. Is that why you punched Mark when he came to visit"? She asks.

   "Well sorta. I also did it to protect Derek. Because he had affair with Addison too. Derek gave him a big punch when he found out about Lexie and mark. It was pretty funny to watch" I confess as I laugh a little. But then my laughter tears back into tears.

  " I wish Derek or Mark were here to kick Riggs ass" I said bitterly.

   Miranda was going to respond when Owen walked in. "Woah what happened to your hand"? I asked. "I just finished beating up Riggs for you Alex" Owen says simply.

  "How did you know"? I asked.

"Well we heard you and Meredith fighting. Then I saw you slammed the door and storm away. I went in and gave Riggs a piece of my mind about how he hurt one of my best friends" Owen says.

"Oh thanks Owen" I say as I cover my face from embarrassment. Knowing that everyone in this whole damn hospital knows.

  "It's okay Alex, I'm so sorry that Mer and Riggs did an awful  cheating. It's so horrible. You have a family together and she does that" he says bitterly.
