Does The Pain Ever Go Away

It's been a month since what happened to me. Lexie is a month old today. But also today is the day we finally settle our case. Alex drops the kids at school and brings Liam to daycare. Alex picks me up from my doctors appointment. I decided to go get an iud. Me and Alex have talk about being done with kids. He says he's happy with his three biological kids. But he also says that all my kids are his kids. So technically together we have 5 kids. Two kid from when me and Derek were together. Zola is adopted so I have had four biological kids.

"How was your appointment"? Alex asked.

"It was good" I replied with a smile.

"Ready for court"? Alex asked.

"Not really" I answer and start to shiver.

"Hey your going to do fine" Alex tells me.

  I continued to look out the window as he drove us to court. My stomach felt like I had a not in it. Every time I thought of that night. My palms would start sweat. My heart raced. I know they will ask me this. But it's going be hard. We get to the court house. The last time was in here is for Alex. Years ago. He and dulca got into a miss understanding. He beat the crap out of him. He took the plea deal. But deluca dropped the charges and everything was fine. That two years ago Ellis was two years old then. Alex pulls into court house parking lot. I open my car door and take a few deep breaths before walking into the court room. When I get to my seat. The judge tells everyone to stand up.

"We are here for plaintiff Meredith Marie Karev and defendant Nathan peter Riggs for a rape assault" the judge states.

"All rise"? she asks.

"You can all sit down now".

   Everyone sits down. My lawyer ms barker. It was turn Owen's turn to be put on the stand.

"Dr hunt, what is your side of the story"? Ms. Barker asked.

"Well after I heard Alex and Meredith were fighting because of the defendent Riggs. He forced Meredith to kiss him" Owen states.

"Dr hunt were you there at the time"? Riggs lawyer asked.

"Objection" barker yelled.

"Irreverent" she barked again.

"Where you going with this ms Leah mutter"? The judge asked. His lawyer dropped her statement.

  "Dr hunt continue" Ms barker said.

"After Alex went go yell at her. He left. I saw him slammed the door. I punch Riggs. Yes I felt bad. So apologized to Riggs. I went to go check on Alex who was in chief baileys office. When I came in there he asked me about my hand. He later asked me about drinks. And he asked ben, George and Jackson to came with him. When we went there. Alex had 5 glasses of vodka soda. He went home with George and stayed there. After he left me and Ben came back here for a case. When I got there. I heard Meredith crying and pleading him to stop. I slammed the door open. I yelled at Riggs to get away from her. I punched him in the head to get Meredith free from Nathan's grasp. He fell down and was knocked out. I had the security guard watch him. And when he woke up. He was being carried out by the police. While I took Meredith home with me. She stayed with me and her best friend Cristina for the night. The next morning we admitted her into the hospital. While there she had a nightmare of that night. Where she was pronounced dead. But later woke up. Since then Meredith's has gone to therapy and group for people who have been sexually assaulted" Owen told them everything. Owen wiped the tears from his eyes.

"Thank you , dr hunt", Ms barker said.

"We call Alex Michael Karev to the stand" ms mutter called. Alex got up and walk to the stand.
