Alex's pov
After I got Liam dressed. I walk back into the kitchen. When I get there. I see Bal crying.

   "Bal, what's wrong"? I ask.

"I miss my daddy" Bal gets a few words out before he goes mute again. My face softened.

   "Hey bud, your dad was a great man. A wonderful father to you. He loved you more than anything. He wouldn't want to cry. Yes he misses you very much and wishes he could be there to see you start 3rd grade. He would want to turn that frown upside down into a smile. Enjoy your day at school", I explain

"Okay, Alex, I will go to school to make my dad happy of me" Bal says as he grabs his backpack from our closet. Mer smiles at Me and I smile back. Mer mouths thank you. I mouth your welcome back.

After everyone is ready. We went to the car. I grab Liam, Ellis and put them in their car seats. Zola climbs into the car and buckles her seat belt. Bal he gets into his seat. After 20 minutes on the road. I pull into the parking lot. Zola, Ellis and Bal get out of the car, head into their school.

On our way to work
Mer gets out of car and heads inside. Izzie walks in after her. She still getting her cancer treatments. She has less of chance on living this time. It's sad and heartbreaking. Even tho she left and cheated on me. I still care about her.

"Iz" I call.

"Alex, it's nice seeing you" Izzie answered back.

"Yeah it is. How's the cancer treatment working for you"?, I ask.

"Oh it's doing okay, I will get through it" Izzie says back with a smile. But I could tell it was fake.

"Yeah hopefully this time the treatment will help you"I say.

"Yeah hopefully" Izzie says and sighs.

  I could see tears trying to escape her blue eyes.

"Hey, hey don't cry. You will get through this Iz. I know you will. Your a very strong woman. I remember when Mark was trying to flirt with you. You turn him down. And when I was trying to get your attention. By putting up the pictures of your magazine shoot all over the hospital. You stormed into the locker room and gave me a huge speech. Then you stripped down just your bra and panties" I explained.

"Yeah and I told you that while your standing in a bunch of debt, that I was free" Izzie said through her loud controllable laughter while the tears of sadness turned into tears of laughter.

"I better get inside before Bailey has my ass for being late" I break the silence.

"Yeah you do that. It was nice of you to still care about me" Izzie says with a smile.

"Of course I still care about you Izzie and you too.
"Bye Alex" Izzie says as she walks her way to the cancer out patient area.
"Bye Iz".
