Well, not completely lost. We know where we're going. But now we're going to have to fly the whole way. Seth can't walk on that ankle. He doesn't even try to stand up. I fold my wings and they disappear. Seth does the same. Now we just look like two kids that are lost.

"Thanks for, you know, saving my life back there." Seth says.

"You did the same for me." I say.

"So I guess the plan is kind of screwed now?"

"Not necessarily. It gives Rick and Firefly some extra time. But other than that, our plans have been delayed, not screwed."

Seth sighs.

"Hey, it's not your fault." I tell him.

"Yeah, I know." He says, "Now I know how you felt. When you were hurt."

"When should we get back in the air?" I change the subject on purpose.

"I don't know."

"We could stay a little longer if you like."

"No, I'm good."

"You can use me for support till you can fly on your own, ok?"

"Ok."

I help him get up and he holds onto me while I take off. It's so much harder when you have a passenger. But once I'm up in the air, Seth flies without my help. We've lost a lot of time so we fly directly to the castle. The closer we get more adrenaline pumps through me. We make it there in an hour.
