As I sit there, watching Chloe, I want to just go home-forget about this whole mission. Why? Well, we've been through enough as it is. I don't really want to do this but I can't let Chloe do this alone. I can't. And Rick...Rick was here because he said that he could help. So far, he's been a pretty good help but I still don't quite trust him. I don't know why.

I keep thinking about Hammer...how'd he find us? Why did he follow us? Firefly probably told him something. Although we didn't indicate where specifically where we were going. But Firefly knows that we're going to go to the giant black castle so...Is there another route? Does she know how to get in? (It's been about an hour, give or take a few minutes.)

Rick wakes up just as I'm thinking this.

"Time for me to take next shift."

I just stare out into space, expecting something to happen.

"Seth?"

I don't respond.

"Seth!" Rick shakes me.

That jolts me back to reality. "Huh? What?"

Rick sighs. "I'm gonna take next watch now."

"But-"

"But nothin'."

So I reluctantly fall asleep.

After a few hours, I wake up and find that Seth is still up. I glance over and see that Rick is still asleep. Has he been on watch duty yet? I decide that's not important. Seth is staring at the night sky, totally oblivious to the rest of the world. I see the night sky is pretty yet eerie. I try to sit up. Big mistake. I forgot about that blow I got from Hammer. The pain kicks in.

Seth turns around. "Chloe?"

I lay back down. "Yeah?"

He comes back in the cave. "What were you doing?"

"Trying to sit up. But I can't." I say.

Seth sits next to me. "You need to take it easy."

"I figured that."

He doesn't smile. His face looks kind of sad. "I'm serious, Chloe."

"Ok, ok. Don't worry about me."

"That's kind of hard at the moment..." He looks outside.

"Is something wrong?" I ask him.

He looks back at me. "No. Nothing's wrong."

"Are you sure? You seem a bit distracted."

"There's a lot on my mind."

"Like what?"

"It's not important."

I reach up and get the hair out of his face. "I can't see your eyes."

He smiles. "Does that bother you?"

"A little."

"Well, I can't see yours." He brushes the hair out of my face. His fingers barely touch my skin.

"Did that bother you?" I ask.

"Just a tad." He says.

I don't say anything. I look at the night sky.

"What're you lookin' at?" Seth asks me.

"The sky." I say.

"Too bad there aren't any stars."
