I stare in horror at what Firefly found. It's a bunch of dead bodies...just laying there. How could this help us? I look to my right and see that Seth is in shock like me. Rick, however, shows no emotion. Was he used to seeing things like this or did he just not care at all? I start to feel nauseous.

"How can this help?" Seth asks.

"I never said it could help." Firefly says.

"Then why'd you even say anything?"

"Because," Rick says, "It means that there's life somewhere around here. Maybe if we just look around, something will pop up."

"Exactly." Firefly says.

I still stare in disbelief. Couldn't whomever lives here have the decency to at least bury these poor corpses? I guess not. So, when you die here, they just throw your body on top of all the other decomposing ones? Ew, that's nasty.

"Come on, let's go." Rick says and they walk on.

Seth walks over to me, "Are you ok?"

I look at him, "Yeah, just, um..."

"Yeah, I know. It's horrible. Let's just leave."

So we walk on, not knowing what else we're going to find. I can tell you one thing. We didn't find any people. I'm really starting to not like Firefly more and more. So far, we haven't found any food, or life. The only thing we've found are corpses; rotting, disgusting corpses.

Although Rick doesn't seem to mind. Finally, after who knows how long, Firefly finds something to eat.

It was some kind of fruit up in a very tall tree. Great, another dilemma. Why can't anything go right for us just once? Is that too much to ask? (I mean really, go through what we've gone through, and you'd want justice too.) The universe hates us...

"Thanks, Firefly. Now we'll have to climb trees like monkeys." Rick says.

"Hey, I led you to food. Shouldn't you be thanking me?" She asks.

"Next time," Seth says, "lead us to food that's on the ground."

"Wait, Rick," I say. "You said we'd have to be like monkeys right?"

"Yeah, so?" He says.

"So, that's what Seth and I will do."

"What?" Seth asks, totally confused.

"You and I can climb the trees like monkeys. Only better, we can become something that climbs." I tell him.

"Couldn't we just grow our wings back and fly up there?"

I shake my head. "That's too noticeable. If we look like animals, no one will spot us."

He sighs. "Fine, fine."

So we turn into monkeys and start climbing the tree. We throw the fruit down to Rick and Firefly, who is still amazed at our skills. Once we have enough, we climb back down and morph back into our normal, human selves.

"Wow! That was amazing! How can you do that?" Firefly asks us.

"Um, we've always been able to do that, actually." I answer.

"We don't know how we do it, we just know we can." Seth says.

"Earth people are so fascinating." Firefly says in awe.

"Now that you're done admiring Seth and Chloe, can we go now?' Rick asks.

"You're just jealous." I say.
