We let Firefly's words hang in the air for a while. We do need to get in, but how in the freaking world does she expect us to trust her? I don't trust her, and I don't want to.
"So we'll get a map, find where Eclipsa's 'palace' is, defeat her, set the people free, and go home. Sounds like a plan." Chloe says.
"It's not that simple." Rick says, "We can't be caught. We need to kill any guard that we face. We can't risk anyone here knowing who we are or what we look like."
"They already don't know who we are. So all we need to do is keep it that way."
"Exactly. But we can't get side tracked. No matter what."
That's not going to be very hard.
"So we'll strike tomorrow?" Firefly asks.
"Right." Rick confirms.
Chloe looks at me. "Seth?"
"Huh?" I say, still confused.
"Is there something you'd like to add?"
"Um, no."
"Ok."
"We need to get that map ASAP. I can go get it." Rick says.
"I will, Rick. Firefly and I can go get it. You and Chloe can stay here." I say. I can't believe I just said that. What am I thinking?
He looks surprised. "Um...ok then. You and Firefly will go. Did you wanna go right now?"
"Sure."
"I guess so." Firefly says in a stunned tone. I'm sure she wasn't expecting that.
"Besides, I need to get out of here. If I don't, I'll go mad." I say.
"We wouldn't want that." Chloe says. She mentally she asks me: Is something wrong?
I glance at her. "Come one, Firefly. Let's go."
I answer Chloe: I'll tell you later.
She nods.
We get our weapons, shields, and carefully open the cellar door. We look all around. No one's coming. We carefully make our way around, looking for anything that will help us. It's probably early morning now. But, then again, who can keep track of time anymore? As we walk, I keep thinking about our plan. How Firefly is our "only" option to getting to Eclipsa's "dwelling." I guess I'll have to suck it up and get over it. I have to go with the flow.

After Seth and Firefly leave, Rick and I just sit in a somewhat awkward silence. It would've been more awkward if we hadn't talked before. But still, there's nothing to say. Nothing I can come up with, anyways.
"Did you see the way Seth was acting when he said he'd go?" Rick asks after a few minutes.
"He seemed...distracted." I answer.
"Exactly. Is something wrong with him?"
"I think it's that he doesn't trust Firefly."
"I don't trust her either. What's the big deal?"
"The thing about Seth is that he doesn't trust people easily. If they betray him before he can trust them, he won't trust them at all. He doesn't want to trust her."
Rick just nods. "I'm guessing you would know that. But I don't blame 'im. She's one complex chick."
"That's an understatement." I say. "Honestly, I don't think it's that he doesn't want to, he's afraid to. He's afraid that he'll be let down. He doesn't take something like that lightly."
