We watch Jay and Gaile dance. They are so freaking adorable! I love watching them. Soon, a whole Nebat band has joined us. Along with a few other creatures: dryads, fairies, nymphs, and many more. Jared and I just sit and watch. This makes me want to dance, but I can't dance. I'm not really the dancing type. By watching all of the creatures, I pick up a few dances. They only play fast, up-beat songs. Jay and Gaile waddle over to us after a few dances.

"You two should dance!" Gaile says. "It's quite enjoyable."

"Yes, go dance! You won't regret it." Jay says.

"But I can't dance." I say.

"Oh, nonsense!" Gaile says. "Dancing comes from the soul, not the feet. But feet are quite necessary for dancing."

"Go on, it'll be fun. We rarely have parties like this." Jay says.

Jared and I look at each other.

He gets up and offers me his hand. "Might as well, right?"

"But--" I protest.

"Come on, Chloe. When are you ever gonna get a chance like this: to have fun and enjoy yourself?"

"Ok." I take his hand.

We walk amongst the various creatures. They ignore us and dance. They're playing something slower and quieter now. I take Jared's hand, put my free one on his shoulder, and he puts his free hand around my waist. We dance, and it is extremely fun. Here we are, in the middle of an important mission, and we are dancing. We continue to dance the day away. The world seems to disappear except for Jared, myself, and the music.

"You're a pretty good dancer." Jared says.

"I am? I don't normally dance." I say.

"You should."

"Uh, thanks."

"You're welcome."

The song becomes faster. We dance to the beat. Jared twirls me. My dress flows beneath me. We dance faster and faster. All the other creatures are watching us. They formed a circle around us. We are the only ones dancing.

"Everyone's watching." I say. This makes me nervous.

"Don't worry about them. It's just you and me right now." Jared says.

"Ok."

We keep dancing. I twirl a few more times. The audience claps. They love it. I think the song is about to end.

Jared leans in closer. "Get ready to jump."

"Ok."

We act causal, as casual as you can get when hundreds of people are watching you dance. Jared twirls me once more. The audience loves that. Then I dip and he catches me. Then he gives me the cue. I jump and he holds me up for a few seconds. He lets me down as soon as the song ends. The audience goes nuts. We stop, catching our breath.

We go over to Jay and Gaile. They are applauding us. I'm tired, but not like I was before. Jay was right; that was fun. I feel so light, like I'm walking on air.

"That was amazing!" Jay says.

"You two look perfect together!" Gaile says.

"Thanks." I say, breathing hard.

"I liked it when you twirled." Jay says.

"I didn't know dancing took so much effort." Jared says.

"Now you understand." Jay says with a smile.

They are playing a different song. A song from the forest, I presume. Although, I don't know too much about music.
