Elgyem and Beheeyem are said to be alien Pokémon from outer space. So, Gamefreak made their names have meanings dealing with outer space. Elgyem name is suppose to sound similar to L-G-M and Beheeyem is suppose to sound similar to B-E-M. These names are acronyms for L-G-M which means "Little Green Men" and B-E-M which means "Bug-Eyed Monster". Which are references to aliens that we call on Earth.
