Gengar:
"Should you feel yourself attacked by a sudden chill, it is evidence of an approaching Gengar. There is no escaping it. Give up."
"It apparently wishes for a companion. Since it was once human itself, it tries to create one by taking the lives of other humans."
This basically says that Gengar wants to murder you so you can become a Gengar and be its friend. And when you feel a sudden chill and see a Gengar theirs no point in running since the Gengar will catch you and kill you.
