Karma scooped the angel up in his arms with ease, holding him bridal style in his arms.

He made his way to the address the angel had specified, occasionally increasing to demon speed to avoid any questions.
By the time he made it back to the beautiful angel's house, it was nearly dinner.

"This is your house yes?" When there was no response, Karma glanced down at angel in his arms. He chuckled softly. Nagisa had fallen asleep.
"How foolish of you, Nagisa-chan," Karma murmured lowly, though the angel was asleep, "I could do anything I want to you, you know." His eyes darkened dangerously, glittering with a demonic bloodlust. It had been so long since the demon had caught an angel's soul.

"However this must be done properly." The hellfire left Karma's golden eyes. "I have to make this perfect. It is a special treat, after all."

He gently placed Nagisa on the ground, before studying the door lock. A mischievous grin slowly spread over his face, and he quickly grew out one of his finger nails. Another demon talent. It was part of when they would shift into their demon form.
With a few quick moments, he had the door open.

He picked he angel up gingerly, carrying him inside. It was relatively plain inside, but definitely clean. Looking around more, Karma noticed a living room that had a tv mounted on the wall, and a couch in front of it.

Karma plopped Nagisa down on the couch, sighing. Should he wake him up? There wasn't much to do while he was asleep, and Karma was bored.

"Nagisaa~" he poked the bluenette.

The angel stirred slightly, rolling over.

"Nagisa wake up. Would you rather I eat your soul?" Karma hovered over the angel, smirking at his threat.

Nagisa's eyes shot open, and he gasped, sitting up and scooting backwards.
"W-who...?" His body relaxed after a second. "Karma."

"So cocky," Karma snickered, "What if I decided to kill you while you slept, hmm?"

Nagisa flushed red, turning away to hide his obvious embarrassment. "W-well you- wait how exactly did you get into my house?!" Nagisa demanded suddenly, the situation finally sinking in for him.

Karma laughed, taking a seat on the couch next to the angel. "The door? Oh that was the easiest part of all of this!"

Nagisa's ocean blue eyes narrowed. "You didn't break it did you?"

Karma scoffed. "Of course not. I know better. It was a matter of picking the lock."

Nagisa shook his head, exasperated. "Alright. Why are you still here?"

Karma leaned closer and poked Nagisa's side. He didn't poke it hard, but he applied enough pressure where Nagisa gasped, clutching at his side and curling up. Pain flared up through his body, and he was now hyperaware of the burn the demon had left.

"Ouch," Nagisa hissed, "I've never gotten this hurt before. I should go wash it."
He stumbled to his feet, but before he could move Karma snatched his wrist.

"There's a better way to heal this you know," Karma hummed lightly, "if you'll let me."

Nagisa couldn't help but be slightly touched by Karma's concern. He didn't even try to force Nagisa into anything. He was asking if it was ok.

"I...I guess so," Nagisa agreed reluctantly. He wasn't sure what Karma was planning to do, which was risky. But something told him it'd be ok to trust him on this.
Idiot, the other part of his brain scoffed, why would you trust a demon? To heal you of all things?

"Well, take off your shirt, Nagisa~" Karma, golden eyes twinkled with that mischievous look, and Nagisa gulped.

He did as he was told, lifting his shirt gingerly. Karma surveyed the injury. Nagisa looked at his eyes to try and decipher anything Karma was thinking about, but ended up empty.

Finally, Karma spoke. "Easy enough. It's just a simple burn from a demon-it hasn't evolved into worse. Luckily I showed up and saved your life, hmm Nagisa-chan~?" Karma drawled teasingly, his voice smooth and honeyed.

Nagisa's shivered slightly at his voice. His heartbeat sped up, and his breath caught in his chest for a long second. He was acting like an immature angel, falling for a demon's trap. Even though Nagisa did his best to hide his reaction, he was sure it didn't go unnoticed by Karma.

That was confirmed when the demon in front of him widened his smirk into a sadistic one, his golden eyes glowing with pleasure. "I knew I had an effect on you. Does it worry you?"

"I..." Nagisa felt drawn into Karma's golden eyes again. The demon's sadistic smile left him surprisingly unfazed.

Snap out of it.

The haze in Nagisa's eyes cleared. "Stop it, Karma."

Karma chuckled. "Just testing you. To make sure you were worthy of my healing talents."

Nagisa rolled his eyes. "Sure. Are you going to show me what you were going to do?"

Karma nodded. "Sir up on the couch, and stay still," he ordered. Nagisa obeyed slowly.

The demon sat next to him, before slowly and carefully dragging a finger across the injured areas.

Nagisa gasped at the ice cold sensation. It felt soothing on the burn, but at the same time it felt like too much.
"Ah!" He gasped.

Karma smirked at his reaction.
Once he'd finished, he sat back against the couch with a satisfied look.

Nagisa glanced down to see the skin that had been burned by the demon nearly completely healed. It was still slightly red, but it didn't hurt or burn. It just stung a bit if he pressed too hard.
Karma had healed what would normally take days to heal.

Nagisa arched an eyebrow. "You can heal the pain you inflict on others, even though your a demon?"

Karma mockingly pouted. "We aren't that evil. And we can't heal everything. Isn't it fair to be able to heal what you hurt to a certain extent? Not that we do it often. But we're able to because this world is balanced. Everything will have balance to an extent. It's like how everything has a purpose. Our world needs balance."

That's why there's demons to kill angels, and vice versa, Karma added silently.

I'm still hunting you, Nagisa. All I'm doing is merely keeping this world balanced.
