Nagisa sat on the ground, shaking. All the instincts in his body were telling him to move, to run. Yet he felt frozen in place.

Karma... the stranger who'd randomly approached him, was a demon.
Nagisa scolded himself for not being able to recognize that. He hadn't even been distracted by anything that day.

"Don't worry," Karma murmured sweetly, his golden eyes softening, "I'm not here to hurt you right now."

Nagisa forced his voice to work. "H-how... how did you find me? And why... why save me?" He managed.

Karma chuckled, amused. "Hmm? Well, I was looking for you, before I heard you scream. As for why I saved you..." he paused, his eyes glinting with a meaning Nagisa couldn't place. "I have my reasons."

"How do I know you won't take my soul?" Nagisa asked carefully, staying on guard.

Karma merely smirked. "Trust me or don't, but you're... different than most angels I've killed. You interest me."

The blue-haired angel, rolled his eyes, but was slightly surprised by the answer. At least Nagisa couldn't sense any bloodlust from him whatsoever. The other demon practically had it radiating off of him. As if reading his thoughts, Karma's eyes narrowed.

"I doubt he's done with you. No demon in their right mind would leave like that. Still, you should get home and treat those wounds you have. I'd offer to help but," Karma shrugged, a lazy smile on his lips, "you have no reason to believe I won't just kill you at first chance."

Nagisa had to admit, he liked Karma's honestly. He didn't necessarily trust him, but he was pretty certain Karma wasn't out to kill him. Otherwise, he would've done it already, Nagisa reasoned.
Stop making excuses to trust him, the logical part of his brain scolded.

Nagisa stayed still, hesitating. He felt more weary than he should after that fight. Not being in constant fights like he used to really took a toll on his skill level, Nagisa noted miserably.

"Are you sure you're ok?" Karma asked, concern lacing his voice. Nagisa glanced up into his golden eyes, instantly feeling drawn in again. He knew why now. It was all because he was a demon.
Nagisa scowled. "Are you going to leave now?"

"Do you not want me to?" Karma teased, the mischievous light returning to his eyes.

"It's actually the opposite," Nagisa snapped.

Karma merely chuckled. "I'll do what I want, Na-gi-sa-chan~"

The angel's eyes widened at the nickname, and his breath caught at the alluring tone Karma used.
Then he silently scolded himself for reacting that way. It wasn't much different than the normal seductive tone demons used with their prey, but hearing it from Karma had a much weirder affect on him.

"As will I." Nagisa held his head high, turning towards towards the direction he'd came from before he ended up in this mess. However after he only took one step, a sharp, dizzying pain shot through his skull. Nagisa gasped, collapsing to the ground. His collapse sparked his other injuries, and he cried out, clutching his now inflamed side.

Karma was at his side in a blur, his gaze darkened with concern again. "Nagisa?! Dammit, you're in no condition to walk. What's your address?"

"Why...why would I tell you that?" Nagisa groaned from the pain.

"Tch. Tell me, Nagisa."

Even with his oddly dizzy state, Nagisa could hear the controlling command in Karma's voice. He left no room for disobedience.
To tired to put up a fight against the demon, Nagisa relented.
