Nagisa felt his breath catch at the demon's possessive words.

"I..." Nagisa began, then shut his mouth. There was nothing he could do. Instead, he sighed in defeat. He'd get his chance. He just had to wait. For now... Nagisa's thoughts sharpened.
Two could play the game of lies and pretend.

Karma saw the look of surrender on the younger's face, and he allowed a small smile to play across his lips. The redhead leaned forward, pressing their bodies together. He watched Nagisa's carefully, paying attention to each and every movement or shift.
Nervousness was obviously there. But there was more.

Karma leaned closer, capturing Nagisa's gaze. The angel's ocean blue eyes were so sweetly innocent, but at the same time dangerous. They hid much, that Karma could tell.

Gently, going slow so Nagisa could fight him if he wanted, he moved to brush his lips lightly against Nagisa's neck. The small kiss was both a subtle reminder of who was in control and affectionate action that Karma had planned out. Whether Nagisa noticed or not, he couldn't tell.

Karma moved away, pausing to gaze into Nagisa's dark blue eyes again, before moving off of the bed. He opened the bedroom door. "Well I'm going to get going. See ya, Nagisa-chan."

Nagisa stared open-mouthed at the spot he was for a moment after he left. Was this demon serious? Mark him, suddenly appear in his room, manipulate him, kiss him, then leave?

Nagisa growled under his breath. "Demons are so confusing."
Frowning to himself, Nagisa prepared himself for the day. Karma was on his mind, as usual. It seemed like the past few days had only been about the demon who'd so suddenly appeared in his life.

Minutes later, Nagisa was outside again. It was cloudy out, and the angel could feel the change in the temperature as it slowly but surely changed to winter.

Soon, there would be snow. White, fluffy snow would blanket the ground, covering everything it could and freezing those it touched. He shuddered involuntarily.

Nagisa's blue eyes scanned the area. The only demon he knew about was Karma, and there was no way he could take him on at his current state. He could settle for lifting the moods of those depressed.
Nagisa's eyes drifted shut, feeling ribbons of power deep through him. They didn't make him stronger, but they poured through every once of his body, warming it with a tingling feeling. The only absence he could feel was on Karma's mark. It wouldn't matter, Nagisa convinced himself. His eyes opened slowly.

The angel was suddenly aware of everyone. His gaze sharpened as he looked around, the moods of those near him processing into his mind. Emotions gathered inside of him, and Nagisa pushed them to a place separate of his own. He disregarded the positive ones, honing in on the dark ones. The ones he would help.

There.

Nagisa walked over towards the area, practically invisible. His power made his presence so light that no one would notice. He was merely a shadow now, walking through the normal streets. Finally at his target, Nagisa reached out a slender finger, brushing it against his arm. The man didn't even notice as Nagisa continued to walk past him. The energy would soon begin to flow through his body, and the angel knew it wouldn't be long before his thoughts began to clear. For him, everything would suddenly be a bit more bright.

Nagisa felt a flutter of pride drift through him. What he was doing, it helped people. He had an impact on this world. A smile crossed his face.

And then, darkness filled him. Nagisa froze instantly, feeling the dark presence that had suddenly appeared. If it weren't for his angelic senses, he would've barely noticed it. Yet in this mode, where his entire body was on high alert, it'd be practically impossible to sneak up on him. Yet it also left him vulnerable.

Nagisa spun towards the source, letting all the tingling energy flow out of him. His hand discreetly slipped towards his knife as he searched for the threat.
It wasn't hard to find. It was the girl staring at him through the people who walked past them.

Nagisa could've ran, if he felt obliged to. But no, he was an angel. He would eliminate this demon.

The girl had honey-colored hair tied into a simple braid. Her eyes were also a honey color, and they darkened with they fell on Nagisa. Obviously she could recognize him as an angel.
Then, she was gone. Nagisa's eyes were barely able to follow her movements as the demon sped away. She paused a little ways away, leaning casually against the wall of a building. Eyes glittering with challenge, she lifted a finger and beckoned him closer.

Game on.
