100 years later.

Karma slipped an arm around Nagisa's waist, grinning to himself when the blue-haired male didn't so much as flinch. The way the two had become attuned to each other's presence had been hesitant at the start, but now was just a natural part of their daily lives.
"Yes?" Nagisa hummed distractedly, texting someone on his phone. He knew Karma was about to complain about the younger ignoring him, but his conversation was important at the moment.
"Nagi-chan~" the demon purred out, stepping closer to bury his face in the soft blue locks and snake his arms around his fallen angel. "Won't you pay attention to me?" His breath ruffled Nagisa's hair, and his fingers crept towards the hem of his shirt, keeping the touches feather-light.
Sighing to himself, Nagisa closed his phone, praying that his friend he was texting would understand why he so urgently had to leave. "Yes Karma?" he asked finally, turning to give his lover a sweet smile.
The grin on the demon's face widened ever-so-slightly at the acknowledgement, something Nagisa had only recently started picking up. Although Karma could sometimes be hard to read, it was only becoming easier and easier for Nagisa. His senses had improved vastly, as had his strength. Kayano and Rio had only half-jokingly called them the power couple of hell and heaven combined.
"I actually have plans for today."
Nagisa raised an eyebrow at Karma's gleeful, proud tone, and he wondered what he was in for.
"Don't give me that look Nagi, it's not that rare for me to have a schedule. Now go get ready," Karma ordered, unwrapping his arms and stepping back.
Shaking his head, despite the amused smile on his face, Nagisa slipped silently around Karma to get ready. Before he could fully make it to the closet, however, Karma's hand reached out and snatched his wrist. Confused, Nagisa turned back. "Yes?"
The grin turned into something more like the devilish smirk that was always present on his face, but a larger hint of malice. "Prepare to get a bit violent~" he sing-songed a bit ominously.
This time Nagisa's eyes did widen. Of course, they didn't live a peaceful life, and fights were inevitable, but the fact Karma was telling him to actually prepare said something.

Out of all the places, Nagisa didn't know why it didn't dawn on him that they'd end up in hell. As he made his way calmly through the underworld, he thought about how a hundred years ago, he'd been kidnapped to here and broke out from Satan's castle. It was such a distant memory, yet Nagisa felt as if it was yesterday. After all, being immortal made time weird.
In the past years, he'd just gotten even more comfortable traversing the grounds of hell, going so far as to even recognize people who stayed there, but he hadn't been in a several years. Why Karma wanted to go now, he had no clue.
The two were walking in a comfortable silence, though close to each other. Karma had never really gotten over his protective nature, despite insisting he knew Nagisa could take care of himself whenever the fallen angel accused him of "babying" him.
Old habits die hard, especially when you have eternity to kill them, Nagisa had grumbled. Now, he'd just grown used to it. It was almost like his armor, just a part of him now.
