Not To Be Forgotten

Chapter 7...

I look at the book in my hand. Why would the title be Latasha Ascencuo?

''What are you doing in my study?'' I jump at his voice. I was so mesmerised by the book, I failed to smell the strong arouma of vanilla in the room.

''Oh, I uhm. I just saw all the books through the open door on my way to my room and I thought a little reading could keep me busy.''

''What did you find?'' He asks pointing to the book in my hand.

I don't want him to know. He's going to take it from me and I need to find out what this book about. ''It's Romeo and Juliet. You know, the one by Shakespear.'' I lied.

''Well, if you found a book you can leave now.''

I hold the book in my arms making sure he can't see the cover of the book as I walk past him, out the door and straight to my room down the hall.

I close my bedroom door and lock it. I can't risk Wesley seeing it. I have a feeling I'm not supposed to read this book.

I sit on the bed and turn the book over to read what it's about.

'The Prophecy of Latasha Ascencuo.

This book contains the past, present and future of Latasha Ascencuo, her entire life storie. Everything that has happend to her and wil happen.

If anything in this book is done to change the future, there will be consequences!'

This can not be real. Can it? Well, the only way to find out is to actually read the book.

I start reading the book and to my surprise, everything is true.

My mother leaving. My abusive brother and father. Finding out about werewolfs. Being mated to Wesley. Everything, even kissing Ben. How is this possible?

I deside to read further. Who wouldn't? I'm sure if you found a book containing your future you would read it to. Besides, I'm in despirate need of some answers.

So far, I've read everything that has already happend to me. The next chapter is about what's going to happen, today?

I'm not in the mood for more surprises, so I might as well be prepared.

According to the book, Wesley is going to have a visitor, an ex-lover. I feel my blood starting to boil. Am I really jealous? I hate this mating thing.

Anyways, back to the book. I do not want to transform again. This ex-lover is going to say something to tick Wesley off and it's going to work. There's going to be a blood bath.

This chick must've done something pretty bad. I mean she's his ex lover and according to the book, he hates her. If he didn't hate her so much, why would he let her tick him off?

A knok on the door startles me. ''Latasha, it's uhm. It's Ben.''

It sounds like it's very awkward for him to talk to me. I don't want things to be awkward between us. He's one of the few friend I have here and I don't want to lose him.

''Wesley sent me.'' He continues. ''Where going to have a visitor soon and he wants you downstairs now.''

Of course he would send someone to come and get me. I hide the book under my bed and walk to the door.

I unlock it and find Ben looking at his feet. I put my head in between his face and the floor to force him to look at me.

''I don't care about what happend in the kitchen. I don't want to lose you as a friend, so will jou please forget about it and just pretend like it never happend.''

He looks up and bites his lower lip. ''I would like that.'' He says with a smile and hold is arm for me to take and we walk downstairs to the entrance of the house.

Wesley sees us and he growls, causing Ben to unclutch his arm from mine.

I roll my eyes, but stand next to Wesley. ''Who's coming?'' I ask. I can't prevent myself from looking into his dark sexy eyes. No! This is not me, it's my wolf.

''Sasha, she's from the Winter Moon pack. None of you know her. Only I do.'' He says looking at the door.

Ben isn't in the room anymore. I don't know where he went to.

''Where's Ben?'' I ask.

''I mind linked him to get some coffee for our...'' he pauses before he continues, ''...guest.''

I can see his lower jaw tighten and his muscular body tensing.

''She's here.'' He growls gripping his palms tight.

He really doesn't like her. It gives me a warm feeling inside, which I hate.

She opens the door and Wesley tenses up even more at the sight of her long dark hair and deep blue eyes.

''Well, well, well. What do we have here?'' She grins. ''Wesley the sexy badass Alpha.'' She says licking her lips, it makes me mad and I breath in deeply. ''And one of his pack slaves.'' She points to me.

''What do you want, Sasha?'' Wesley asks with no emotion.

''Is your ex-lover not welcome in your home?''

''No.'' He keeps is cool.

''Now that's just sad. I've missed you. Alot.'' She walks closer to Wesley with puppy dog eyes and my blood boils. Wesley keeps his ground, but growls.

Not wanting this to end in a blood bath like the book says, I deside to stand up for Wesley. I know the book says there's going to be consiquenses, but it can't be worse than a blood bath.

I step in between Wesley and Sasha. ''Don't touch him.''

''And who are you to tell me what I can and can't do to that sexy Alpha?''

Wesley growls again at the thought of her doing what she wants to him. He doesn't do anything about me standing up for him, so I continue.

''His mate.'' I hate admitting it, but Wesley doesn't protest.

''According to Wesley he doesn't have a mate.'' She folds her arms with a winning grin on her face.

''Which means I can have who I want.'' Wesley says surprising me. I know he's just trying to get rid of her though.

''And you chose her when you could've had me. That hurts.'' She says holding a hand over her heart.

''Sasha even if I did want you as a mate, long ago, we all know very well that you have a mate out there. The feelings I had for you are long gone. Replaced by hate. And I feel sorry for your poor sucker of a mate.'' Wesley walks out behind me, now standing next to me to face her. He has anger in his voice.

Ben comes into the room and drops the tray of coffee when he lays eyes on Sasha. The floor is coverd in coffee, sugar and pieces of glass.

Wesley looks at him mad, ''What's wrong with you?''

Ben can't take his eyes of Sasha and the only word that manages to escape his lips is...

''Mate...''
