Not To Be Forgotten

Chapter 24...

Wesley's POV.

I'm going mad at the moment. I can't find Latasha anywhere in this entire damn house.

I've been looking for her for 2 hours now to take her to dinner. Nobody has seen her. That girl is going to be the death of me, even before the prophesy explains.

''Have you seen Latasha?'' I ask Maggie at the entrance room.

''No my Alpha, I di-'' She gets cut off by the door swinging open.

Mia rushes in with Steven behind her. What's that asshole doing here?

''Latasha's gone.'' Mia says out of breath.

''What?'' I ask clenching my jaw.

This has to be her good for nothing brother's doing. I start walking towards him with clenched fists. My anger getting the best of me.

Mia jumps in between us and stops me. ''It's not his fault. He helped her.''

I glare at him over Mia's shoulder, he looks scared and concernd. ''Let's go to my study and sort this thing out.''

I turn around in a rush and go upstairs, followed by Steven and Mia. We're about to enter my study when a voice stops us in our tracks.

''Steven?'' A confused voice says. We all turn around and see Miranda coming out of her room.

''Mom.'' Steven wispers and runs down the hall to his mother, hugging her tight.

''What are you doing here?'' She asks.

''Latasha's in trouble.''

''What's going on?'' She asks confused pulling away from his hug.

''Miranda please join us in my study so that we can figure this out.'' I say out of patients.

Every second of not knowing where Latasha is makes my wolf even madder. I close the door behind us. Turning around, I start walking to everyone.

''You two better start explaining.'' I motion to Mia and Steven.

Mia sighs and looks up to me. ''She found a prophesy about herself.''

''Shit.'' I mutter under my breath. She wasn't supposed to find it.

She contiues knowing that I know the prophesy, ''She wanted to kill Stephan before he could kill you. She's inlove with you.''

This is why I didn't want her to fall inlove with me. I knew she would do someting reckless like this. I was inlove with her though, there was no denying it.

I look up at Steven urging him to continue explaining.

He places a hand on Mia's shoulder and looks at me. ''Ever since Latasha left my dad has become worse. I didn't like that side of him and I definitely didn't like the idea of the war. Killing so many innocent people for nothing. When Latasha came to the house I knew she came to kill Stephan and I took it as my chance to help her and get away from everything. I was tired of living a life I didn't like. I wanted to be myself for a change, a good guy.''

''Well Steven you're more than welcome to stay here,'' I say ''but right know I need to know what happend to Latasha.''

He nods in understanding. ''I killed Stephan with the knife Latasha gave me.'' He continues handing me the knife. ''She didn't really know if she could trust me, so she checked to see if he's really dead. He was and she placed a hand on my shoulder knowing it would be hard for me. When her hand left my shoulder I looked at her and she looked confused. All of a sudden she just fell to the floor and dissapeared right in front of me.''

A lightbolb goes on in my head. ''I know where she is.''

Latasha's POV.

''Pink fluffy unicorns dancing on rainbows.'' I say in a sing song way.

I'm lying on the dark floor, bord out of my mind. I thought that maybe if I irritate the Moon Goddess enough she will show herself again, so I started singing the most irritating yet most satisfying song to sing.

''Pink fluffy unicorns dancing in rainbows.'' I sing even louder.

It isn't working. I gowl in protest. I'm feeling mad all of a sudden. It must be Wesley's feeling I'm feeling through the mating bond.

Wait a minute. When one of us is in our wolf form we can read each other's minds. I smile with a flicker of hope and start taking off my clothes. I don't want to rip them appart after all.

I start feeling the green glow coursing through my body. Imagening myself change into my beast. Letting her take over. I really hopes this work.

I'm in my wolf vorm and I yell in my head. 'Wesley? Please tell me you can hear me.'

There is a few moments of silence and as I'm about to loose all hope...

'Latasha?' I hear his intimidating yet sexy voice in my head.

'Wesley please help me. You have to come and get me. The Moon Goddess took me to this dark place. The Forgotten Realm, she called it.' I cut straight to the point.

'I'm coming to get you. I promise I'll get you out of there, even if it kills me.' His voice fades away.
